“Great seafood resteraunt.”

Wow what an experience. Fantastic food, great service and bargain prices. Food was so go that we almost went back a second night. One meal will be enough for two. Casual attire. Fun place

“Spicy boiled seafood”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2014

I liked the food but it was spicy. Be prepared if you visit this place the first time as they dump your order on the table (literally) and you pick through it - peel it and eat it. Its messy but good! It is a little pricy as well - I know a lot of people who LOVE going to this place - I liked it. Not my favorite but not the worst either.

“Unpretentious, Spicy, Limited Menu”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2014

Very casual and laid back atmosphere. Just a few ala-carte menu items and the rest are boiler pots. The prices may seem high at first glance, but think about it - they're really cheaper than the steampots from Joe's Crab Shack.

I got one of the pots. Everything was seasoned with hot Cajun spice, which I didn't care for. The shrimp, corn, sausage and potatoes were very good, but didn't care for the blue crab and crawfish - effort vs. food yield ratio was not good; lots of work for little edible bits.

I don't think I'd go back, mainly due to the spice.

“A great stop for lunch!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2014

We stopped at the Boiling Pot for lunch, ate on their patio, and had a great lunch. They served our lunch in a big bowl, which they dumped on our table (after they covered it with freezer paper) and we dined on a table full of seafood. It was great!
