“Nice breakfast!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2014 via mobile

Every time we would drive by the parking lot would be packed Sunday mornings. I was reluctant to stop because I thought it was a cheap chain. We went in for breakfast and the place was crowded. I ordered an omelet as did my husband. His was with meat which he said was chewy. The omelet was great! I had beans and potatoes and tortillas which all were much better than our "previous" favorite breakfast place. It's a keeper!

“Poor Enchiladas al Carbon”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2014

The front desk/cashier was very friendly for my take-out order, but I would not recommend the Enchiladas al Carbon. The meat was tough and seemed more like a soft beef jerky texture. I asked if the business was a family business, having not been to this area in a while, and was told that it was, however, while travelling through a few other small towns in the area, I discovered it is a chain restaurant, or at least the name is part of a bigger chain. It is certainly not one of a kind.

“Good place to eat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2013

Jalisco's is a good place to eat. Their Migas are delicious! It's a small place and sometimes pretty busy in the mornings. On Sunday mornings it can be difficult to get a seat if you don't beat the church crowd.

“Excellent Food and friendly service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

We ate one breakfast and one lunch at Jalisco on a recent trip to Rockport. The Migas plate is an excellent breakfast special. Scrambled eggs with bits of jalapeño, tomato and grilled tortillas alongside refried beans with a side of flour or corn torillas-yum! My kids had pancakes and eggs with bacon. Breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids was just over $20.

At lunch the choices were even more varied and delicious. The portions were large and the food tasted so fresh. I had the chicken enchiladas verde with rice and beans. The Jalisco burrito, and kid's cheese quesadilla were also ordered. Even the chicken strips were tasty, according to my daughter. A special treat are the three different sauces, available at all times: red, green and habanero. All are savory and add a burst of flavor.

Lunch for 4 was $30.
