Their burgers here are incredible. The sweet mustard is absolutely amazing and while the service is not necessarily fast, all of the food is fresh and you know it's made well. I would much rather order at the counter (doesn't seem like that much of a hassle really) and wait a couple extra minutes for something that I know is high quality rather than be fed a bunch of garbage. I don't know why people are complaining about the prices. $9 for a burger isn't that bad and considering it's a really really good burger, what's the big deal?

Above average food in the downtown area. The atmosphere is good but a little pricey. The portabella mushroom plate was very good

It was a little pricey, but so good! My boyfriend and I split a burger and the shrimp cocktail. While the cocktail was good, it wasn't really worth the 9.00.

Unfortunately we went during spring break, but we were expecting the usuall lines and wait time, but when we went inside, you have to order at the counter. people were in line, but no one at the counter!!!!!!!!! Oh now I see why , she is also the waitress, delivering your order, the bus person ..... oh yeah ..also the person taking the drink order. WHAT WAS THE OWNER THINKING?????? Spring break for Gods sake!!! 1 Cook, 1 diswhwasher, oh yeah, there was 5 forks, 2 knives and 6 spoons in the coconut basket, put in wet so when you pick them up they had all the dirt from the bottom of the basket on the utensils.....YUMMMM!!! The lady there was overwhelmed. The problem that I really have with the place is that is was NOT PACKED !!!!! because the tables were full from dirty dishes!!! People were coming in , waiting a bit and leaving. We stayed to see the fun!!!!! The waitress/busperson/order taker/ drink server came out frm the back with a dish tray. looked around and said out loud to herself" Uh lets see, were do I start" Duh ya think it might be cleaning the 6 out of 12 full tables? Nah, she loaded it up a bit, picked up a few more glasses and left the tray on the table !!!! Oh this was good !!! 3 more people walked out...They do sell beer but look inside the cooler first. they didn't stock up so there were 2 or 3 of each of some and out on others.
The only bit of saving grace was that some of the food was good. The menu looks wonderful. The club sandwich was really good along with its wild potatoe salad. The beer brat was just rolled around on the grill with uneventful grilling done to it the put on a pretty good bun but was surrounded with normal saurekraut that made the bun a soggy mess. that was disappointing. word of advice...... stay away from anything moist with bread and don't go if you want normal speed service. Do go if you love a comedy of errors and some good food with a wait time, Ciao !

I love this restaurant. I have only had their breakfast but it is by far the best breakfast food I have had. The ginger pancakes with lemon sauce are delicious and the sausage and bacon, cooked to perfection. The omlet, oh my. However, it is the coffee that stands out. The best cup of coffee since my days in Holland. The laid back atmosphere borders being at a european cafe and the ecclectic decor keeps the eye moving after you have been sitting for 30 minutes. From the bathrooms to the "get your own silverware" to the cool stools and alligator print place mats, this hidden gem is a guaranteed repeat every visit. Caveat to the individual who demands instant service...this, you will not receive. It has a laid back ambiance and this is due to the owner's obvious style. This, to me, is part of the greatness. And no matter the wait for the food, it is well worth it!
