“A Historical Time”
Reviewed March 2, 2012

My husband and I celebrated a 48th Anniversary at the Angel Rose B&B. We had been to Rockport before and fell in love with the area. Our first time to stay at the B&B and we were enthralled with the historic setting and felt we had "gone back in time". Each room was so amazingly furnished to even the squeaks in the floor. Of course, Jennifer and Rusty and Lacy, the little dog were charming. Rusty should open his own restaurant as the breakfasts were outstanding. They gave us lots of info on things to see and places to eat. Although the weather left a lot to be desired, a "good time was had by all"! Sue and Bill

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angel Rose. The house is magnificent and the antique furnishings are fantastic. Rusty and Jennifer were great hosts. Their knowledge of the Rockport community and local events made our stay even more enjoyable. The location of the House is within walking distance to many of the Rockport attractions. Rockport is a beautiful small town with so much to do and see. We loved our stay at Angel Rose B&B!

Angel Rose B & B is a magical hidden treasure located in Rockport, TX. Rockport is a coastal paradise in its own right and Angel Rose only enhanced the town's beauty. The innkeepers, Jenifer and Rusty, did an outstanding job of making us feel welcome and providing us with much history about the house and town. The breakfast was divine, and Jennifer and Rusty will be cooking for us again, because we will be repeat customers......

This was my first visit of Rockport and a memorable one, partly because of the peaceful and beautiful Blue Wave Beach, and in part because of the charming Angel Rose Bed and Breakfast. The house is stunning, filled with details and charm in every corner. The hosts, Jenn and Rusty, were very welcoming and made us feel at home and cooked us a great breakfast - the fresh fruit was d-e-l-i-s-h and the eggs benedict a must-have!
I highly recommend staying here for a unique, memorable and relaxing experience.

Had not been back to Rockport in probably the last 40 years. So Michele and I decided to go for the weekend. Did not want to stay at a motel or hotel. So the next choice was a B&B. Staying at the Angel Rose was the correct choice. Both Rusty and Jennifer who own the house (along with a ghost) were great hosts. Sad to say we never saw the ghost. The breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday were fantastic. Location is great. We were within walking distance of the marina, art shops and one great restaurant/art gallery. If you want to just relax . . . this is the place to stay.

I was really reluctant to stay at a chain motel/hotel due to cleanliness issues. I came across some really great reviews of this place so my husband and I decided to give it a shot, we were not disappointed. Rusty and Jennifer run a beautiful and clean bed and breakfast. So clean in fact that they even washed the curtains in our room before we settled in, I was not at all hesitant to sleep on the bed or shower in the tub, it was immaculate. They took the time to freshen up our room even though it was already really clean, and we were given a complimentary soap specially made for their Bed and Breakfast. Rusty even gave us a tour of the home and recommended some nice places to check out on our visit. The breakfast the next morning was very delicious and generous, hand cut fruit cups with yogurt and eggs Benedict. We will definitely return, they were so welcoming and made us feel at home. I'm really glad I found a place that cares about their visitors comfort and stay.

Room Tip: you can book through their website before hand or chance it like we did and drive up fingers crossed...
