“Great food”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

It is hidden but worth it. It is at Polk and 75 in Richardson. I have had the grilled tilapia and grilled catfish. Both were excellent. Their lunch special prices are very reasonable. I have not tried dinner but it looks like the menu and prices are the same.

“Hidden but quite a find!”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

My friend kept after me to go try this place....well, I owe her a big thank you! The owner is Cajun/Hispanic, and both ethnicities play a part in the great tasting food! I had the special: a shrimp po' Boy and gumbo. The gumbo was smooth, dark and yummy [no okra]. The sandwich was made of jumbo butterflied shrimp, so none were falling as I was eating. The bun was moist and delicious - not your usual chewy, dry bun. My friend had salmon over green beans.....it was huge! It was percfectly cooked - on the medium rare side and the beans were very tasty. I hear the salads are huge, also. Another neat thing about this restaurant is that they have yummy shrimp cocktails and aguachile....a south of the border treat of shrimp, line, avocado, peppers, etc. so delicious....sort of like ceviche but better. They have Happy Hour from 2:00 - 7:00 and serve $2.00 Tecate. Another friend went and was so excited about the light, non greasy fried oysters. You can eat outside and bring your dog! This place is hard to find....it is off of the north bound Central Expwy [75] access road just south of Belt Line on Polk Street. The health scores are 100 - beautiful and clean restrooms. It is across from First Emperor Chinese - the best Chinese food in the area. ...also a 100 on health scores. Well, if you don't go viist, you will be so sorry!
