Try the shrimp burger! Great service, portions are very large and service is friendly. Food is outstanding and enchiladas a must.

My favorite place to eat in Port O. Breakfast tacos that weigh in at over a pound a piece and monstrous hamburgers! Both of which are so good, they will curl your toes. And don't make the mistake of ordering more than two pancakes. They weigh in at over 1/2 lb a piece, too! The mexican food, ehhhh, take it or leave it. The salsa has always been sub par, but they seem to make pretty good enchiladas and tamales. Instituted a lunch buffet recently that is definitely worth the money. Still, I recommend, highly, the jalapeno cheeseburger!

Port O'Connor is right next to the Gulf of Mexico and, as such, should probably be known for their seafood. This area does have good seafood and in abundance. However, Josie's has the BEST burgers around. The buns are toasted, the burgers are big and the fries are home cut and fresh. Yumm-Oh all the way. The Breakfast tacos are also very good, huge tacos but very yummy. I reccomend this place to anyone who lives in or goes to Port Lavaca, Seadrift, Port O'connor and all points in between. It's a shack but it's good! This place used to be BYOB but now they serve beer. They have a cantina in the back where local bands now play.
