Outstanding food, excellent service, charming waitresses and waiters. Constant stream of patrons while we were there and never a wait. Definitely will return!

“Magical breakfast speed, great service!”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

We looked all over Port A for a place to have breakfast on a foggy morning: no dice. We finally got a recommendation for this great find of a restaurant and headed over. We were greeted and seated immediately in the homey and very clean dining room. We had coffee in an instant and ordered right away. It was as if the waiter conjured up our food from thin air; it arrived in an instant. I had the Migas con huevos and it was delicious in all respects. The coffee cups never went below half full and my wife's pancake platter was also excellent. Our server was a character, chivvying all the rest of the customers and staff. It was a most pleasant breakfast experience. When I went to pay the bill, I was amazed at what such good food -and in such ample quantity- had cost us. We will definitely return here.

“It was ok”
Reviewed February 6, 2013 via mobile

By far the least expensive dinner we have had in Port A. Good points--service was excellent, margarita was good, the flour tortilla and queso was excellent. Bad--Taco was a bit greasy. Meal was ok but no great shakes.

“Bargin food, informal atmosphere”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Initially we were somewhat dissapointed in this resturante as it was less formal than a typical mexican restaurant. it was lounder and seating was mostly chairs and tables not booths. but after we ate we realized the food was good, and the price was amazing. After eating at a few other spots on the island we realized this was one of the best bargins with quality of food for the price. If you are lookign for a fancy sitdown this is not it.

“Great service, great value, ok food”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

We stopped here without knowing anything about it- the front of the neat looking building says "San Juan Restaurant"- we were craving some Mexican, so it sounded like our place! The specials were $5 fajitas and $3 ritas. The drinks were great, the fajitas were pretty good (not wonderful, but ok) - beef, chicken or shrimp. FYI: my daughter wasn't crazy about her carne asada burrito. The staff was attentive, and friendly and the service was great. We were a bit early for dinner, so there were only a few cars in the lots when we arrived, but when were were leaving, it was filling up fast.
