Great seafood. The prices were reasonable. Some of the dishes weren't seasoned to we'll but the food was prepared perfectly. I especially enjoyed the soft she'll crab and gumbo!!

“Great burgers, noisy place, a little dirty feel”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

Went here after the kids got out for summer. Since we had food poisoning back in August from Sushi (Cancun Grand Oasis, see my review) the kids and I can't do seafood anymore so we got burgers. The burgers were very tasty, great buns and good onion rings. We had to wait incredibly long to get our food and were seated at a table by the bar. The bar is very loud and full of drinkers obviously so it seemed like even longer than the approximately 45 minute wait for the food that it was. The atmosphere is dingy, low ceilings and we say in our family, "Salty." We would not return.

“Good Shrimp, Not so good service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

we arrived late into Port A on a Sunday night. after checking into our condo we decided to get something to eat. Castaways looked like one of those quirky places with good food.. We ate "outside" on one of the picnic tables. we all ordered the friend shrimp. it they were big and good.. but served on a stryofoam plate with some less than tasteful fries. the service was slow, I would not say rude, more than apathetic. the speed was not an issue for us as we were on vacation--island time. but compaired to other resturants we would visit throughout the week this was weak.

“Prepare for a w-a-i-t...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2014

We weren't in a hurry. After calling to see if baked potatoes were available (due to a dietary need) and that dogs were allowed on the patio we arrived at 8 pm. We proceeded to wait for a spot on the patio due to bringing our dog. We expected a bit of a wait. As it approached 9 p.m., no tables had been vacated on the patio, however the long, bar-like table had. We had to hunt down the hostess and ask to be seated there. She seemed surprised by our request. Luckily we received the last baked potato and grilled shrimp in the shells. We enjoyed our food in spite of the late hour but would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with a dog in tow. How sad as there are so few restaurants that make this a priority.

“Awesome Piña Colada!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2014 via mobile

Ok, so I never get a piña colada because they're too sweet and taste only of coconut but the house speciality here was awesome! It comes in a hauled out pineapple and it tastes soooo good!
The food was pretty great too! You have to get there early because if not, there is quite a wait. Portions are pretty big. If you ask, they will bring you out a plate of pineapple like bread for free! Our waiter was very friendly! I will definitely go back !!!
