We love Virginia's. Such great atmosphere and the food is wonderful. I'm not a fan of seafood but I'm always the only one in the group that doesn't love it. No problem, they have plenty of items to choose from if seafood isn't your favorite. We've been there when it's perfect weather and the huge window/doors are open. The boats coming into the docks and coming and going are just so relaxing to watch. We've been there at sunset too. Absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to get back to the Beach and to our favorite restaurant.

This place obviously gets a lot of business because it is one of the few restaurants on the water in Port Aransas. The service was very friendly and helpful; however, the food was very disappointing. We started out with appetizers and then decided to move to another establishment for main course. My shrimp appetizer tasted like one of those "frozen rings" you can buy at the grocery store. Yuk. One friend was underwhelmed with her gumbo. I don't remember my other friends' dish but it was unanimous that we would move on down the road. When you go to the beach, you at least expect fresh seafood.

Shrimp embrochiette (spelling?) the first night and awesome as always. Coconut shrimp the second night and it was great, too. Not too sweet like a lot of the ones I've had and I like it not too sweet. The rice is great, but the mashed potatoes are wonderful! Love to sit next to the rail with the windows open.

We supped here twice during our visit to the Port A area and both times we were totally satisfied with our food & drinks. Although we had a bit of a wait for our meals one evening, the service was good. the mahi mahi with lobster sauce{ :) ] was most xclnt as were the crab/lobster legs, cocoanut shrimp and the flounder. early evening was almost ambient and late evening is a bit noisy but tolerable. Aprovecha

Despite previous reviews we lunched here (mostly because so many of the restaurants were closed on Monday.) Had a very nice lunch. Good food. Good view. And despite being very busy the staff was friendly and smiling.
