“frustrating experience”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

When we walked in there was a sign that said fresh oysters so thats what we ordered. The waiter came back & said they werent serving oysters today. My husband is on a gluten free diet so he ordered fish tacos & asked the waiter if they were corn tortillas , He said yes but later came back & said the corn tortillas also have flour in them. So he ordered
grilled fish. It took at least 30 minutes to get our order in. It was certainly not worth it. The grilled fish was undercooked, we didn't get the sides we ordered but at that point we didn't say anything. My fried shrimp were ok.

“Harborside View but Mediocre Food”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

Lovely waterside views, right at the marina in Port Aransas. Sad to say, the food was mediocre at best. Overseasoned crab cakes had no taste of crabmeat. Overbreaded oysters were small but tasty on the inside. Nice grilled veggies as a side dish, though. I heard that the key lime pie is very good, but we didn't get to try it. Maybe next time, if there is one.

“Very Tasty”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

The food was very tasty. The portions were large enough that you could share with another. We had the special. Price was decent. We thought the baked potato was just perfect. View nothing to write about.

“Not so good”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

Beautiful place and location. Quality has gone way down - was at one time one of our favorites, we don't go there at all anymore. Will check here occasionally to see if anyone says it has gotten better, may try again someday.

“If only the food was as good as the service”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

You do not have to travel to Port Aransas to eat frozen sea food, you can do it at your local super market and probably get better food. Not only frozen but with no taste, Friend shrimp was hard, over breaded and tasteless. Better meat at McDonalds than the chicken fried steak, I know, steak at a sea food place? But this is Texas. On the other had the wait staff was great and nice view of the marina.
