On the recommendation of the host at the Holiday Inn Express, just across the street, I went for dinner expecting something amazing. The atmosphere was cozy and casual, which is what I like but it certainly was not in the "fine dining" category.
I ordered the swordfish steak with the caper aioli for a price of about $20. When it arrived it was luke-warm at best and very raw in the middle. I sent it back and I was told that the aioli sauce would be what would cool it down. When it came back after 10 minutes of supposed re-heating, without the aioli, it was still luke-warm and tough. Honestly, in my opinion, it was a pre-grilled fish steak that was most likely refrigerated and put in the oven for a few minutes. It was not passable and I sent it back.
I was graciously offered a second menu item, to the credit of the restaurant. I chose the crab cake with the grilled shrimp skewer with another type of aioli. The crab cake was very hot when it arrived but average in taste. The shrimp skewer, again, tasted luke-warm and like it had been pre-grilled and stuck in the oven for a brief period to heat it up.
If you're expecting fresh seafood do not expect it from this establishment. You can get better elsewhere for a similar price. This restaurant is grossly over rated.
