We were surprised that Roosevelt's dining room was so small ... Just 8 tables ... But it was a cozy setting with real linen and candles on the tables. The chefs worked with efficiency and a sense of purpose in an open kitchen that was absolutely spotless. The service and food were both top notch. I had a wedge salad and the crab cake appetizer for dinner. There was plenty of food to fill me up. The crab cakes had lots of crab and were very flavorful with a little Texas pepper zest. My wife had the quail entree and she was very pleased with her choice. Our friends enjoyed a piece of key lime pie for dessert that they described as one of the best they have had.

I've been to Port Aransas many times over the years but just discovered this hidden gem last week. It's across an outdoor courtyard from the Tarpon Inn and has less than 10 tables so is a very intimate setting. The chef is visible from most tables. I had warm spinach salad, red snapper with seafood ravioli, and s'mores cheesecake (which i couldn't resist because i was pretty full but am glad i had). Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Waitress was very friendly and helpful when i had trouble deciding what to order. Next time I'm in Port A i definitely plan to eat there again.

We really enjoyed our first visit. Our friends recommended Roosevelts for me and my daughters Valentine's date. It was awesome! Our dishes were perfectly presented and cooked, service was friendly and knowledgable and Roosevelts was clean. We had a GREAT Valentine's date!!

Dining at the Roosevelt was an absolute delight. The cooks are two young men giving their all to bring forth a wonderful and delicious dining experience. From the cozy, romantic and embracing of the past history and beauty of The Tarpon itself it is quite quaint in a great way. We had Prime cut Rib-Eye atop a bed of sliced potatoes with blue cheese and a side of asparagus perfectly done. The steaks were perfection! The young lady that served us was informative and delightful. Please give this place a try! No disappointments here.

We tried Roosevelt's for the first time on a recent visit to PA. It was off season on a Friday night. We were the only people dining there. That should have told us something. We had the crab cakes and the grouper. The crab cakes were just ok. The grouper was good. In spite of us being the only diners the waitress was not attentive.
