My family ate here twice during our week in Port A and were very satisfied both times. Good selection of both bbq and seafood with lots of options for sides. Service was a little slow, but otherwise very friendly.

We decided to try Beaches for an early dinner when we arrived in Port A. The service was wonderful! We ate at the bar and all staff members who walked by spoke to us and made sure we were taken care of. The beer selection was great-plenty to choose from and they let you taste test and explain what is special about each beer. If you go, you HAVE to et the brisket nachos! I ordered a steak but wish I would have stayed with the brisket.

We had dinner here and the food was very good! Brisket nachos were excellent as was the smoked chicken and the pork sandwich. We were a party of six and no complaints on the food! Atmosphere was nice too. Prices were mid range. We will go here again!

Beaches Cafe, not to confused the Beach Street Grill down the street, is a newer restaurant with lost of seating and a wide menu selection. We ate here a here a few years ago for lunch and it was really good. Ate here last night and wasn't as pleasant, but not bad. Our waiter was very good and attentive. They have a great beer selection on tap and the food was good. The problem was, they were way too fast. We ordered appetizers and they were delivered promptly, 1 minute later the salad was on the the table, and 2 minutes after that our entrees were delivered. Not enough time to enjoy the different courses. They were very good except my blackened mahi-mahi was over done, but they brought out another piece that was excellent. My advice is to pace your orders where you can enjoy your meal. The staff is young, but very friendly. They just need to learn patience. We will still go back.

Food came out quick and great atmosphere for kids. The quality was ok not great. We have had better while in port A.

Beware when they get busy it takes forever to get the check.

Would only come back if nothing else is open.
