The beach was relaxing, breezy, and fun. We had a great time there and the ability to park right by the water (with a $12 parking permit) was a great benefit.
The real drawback to this beach was the overwhelming amount of seaweed encountered. There should have been more work done to remove it, as it was filled with all kinds of trash and man-o-wars.
That being said, we were able to find a solid two acres of unclaimed beach during the week, which gave a sense of privacy or at least a lack of annoyance from inconsiderate beach-goers. The sand is outstanding for sculpting and playing!
