This is a great Texas experience. The portions are large, no matter the entree. The atmosphere is fun and there is often live music that takes it up another notch. The food was very good. We enjoyed The El Paso, fajitas (chicken and steak), and The Stock yard (A filet cut), none of which disappointed. Service was friendly and speedy. It was a good value overall.

While this is not the best food I've ever had, it is a long way from the worst. It has great value for both lunch and dinner and the place is clean and the waitstaff is great. If you are looking for a place for a business lunch, then Love & War is a fantastic option.

First, let's just all agree Texas is far and away the greatest place in the world. I know, silly to have to even say but necessary for this review.

If you're a Texan you'll love it because it's sooooooo over the top Texas. If you are visiting, it gives you a fun hyperbole of the Texas experience.

The food's pretty good but not outstanding although the menu is extremely creative and divided by regions of the state. The prices are decent but a little high. The atmosphere is really fun and the portions fit the Texas reputation.

We love visiting when we feel like getting our "Texas on" and reminding ourselves we live in God's country.

Good service, visited around 8pm on a weekday. Had the chicken fried steak...very tender and seasoned well. Their garlic mashed potatoes were awesome! But, I felt a little out of place since I wasn't wearing boots haha

The main pro of this restaurant is that its entirely dedicated to serving food from the state of Texas. If you are an out of state traveler, you should definitely check out this place. The food is good, and they serve some interesting game animals such as deer. Although the food is good, its not special and won't leave you wanting for more. Along with the distinct Texas atmosphere, the entertainment is made better because on most nights there will be a live singer in the building. There is one problem with this restaurant. When I was checking out the healthy and safety rankings on the Plano Health Department website, this place was only receiving B- reports. Any other respectable restaurant was receiving at least a B+, if not an A.
