Good German food. Had the Jagerschnitzel, red cabbage and spoetzel. Very tasty and plentiful portion. Little bit pricey but good

“Enjoyable Dinner”
Reviewed June 1, 2014 via mobile

First time at this restaurant and my family and I enjoyed the experience. The family ordered an assortment of entrees and we shared...each were very good with great seasoning and flavor. The menu is very diverse.

The ambiance was very traditional, service was very attentive, and a great selection of German draught beer.

I look forward to a return visit.

“Can't go to Germany? Come here!”
Reviewed May 29, 2014

Authentic German dishes such as all kinds of sausages, schnitzels, veal, etc. The red cabbage
sauerkraut and the house salad with marinated cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions is reason enough to come. Best ever! The manager/owner is from Germany area and he uses his experience for a dining pleasure. We have been coming to this restaurant for years and it never disappoints! Some evenings there is a small band playing right along while you eat, the kids can get up and dance the 'chicken dance', we all sign German songs and it is a blast. This restaurant is not quiet if you are looking for a romantic, intimate dinner but it is loads of fun and something so unique that you will not experience anywhere in the DFW area that I am aware of. Then there are the German beers and the Bar, which is in another area of the restaurant away from the restaurant seating area....so many to choose from that there is a 'contest' you can enter and savor the many beers over different times in and then you receive your own Mug. Our whole family likes this restaurant and we hope it is here for a long time to come.

“Über Delicious!”
Reviewed May 5, 2014

So, I'm more of a fan of English/Scottish ales & bitters than German pilsners & lagers... That being said The beer selection here is quite awesome, especially in the fall.

But you really come for the food and the atmosphere. The food is exceptional! I usually order the sausage platter or the hunter's schnitzel. But truthfully, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The only thing that would make it better would be a nice Greene King Abbot Ale, or a Timothy Taylor Landlord!
