There are some options at Smokin Racks that are very tasty, while there are some options which are pretty terrible. Smokin Racks is about as hit or miss as restaurants come. Items that are good at Smokin Racks include baked beans, fried okra, pulled pork, and smoked chicken. Items that are pretty bad include brisket and the fries. Also, this place runs out of items pretty easily. They were all out of both turkey and seasonal vegetables when we visited.

Read the reviews so decided to drive over and give it a try. When you first walk in it looks like a shopping strip center food place
It took a while to get greeted. There was only 4 other customers.
Ordered full rack ribs ( pork) 2 sides bbq beans and potato salad
Ribs were ok. Beans are van-camps from a can and a few pieces of bacon added.
All in all. One trip place for us.

Just finished off a take-out platter; results:
Brisket: excellent smoke ring and flavor, a tad dry but still very good (bet it was killer fresh out of the pit).
Sausage: very good, not greasy, almost a hot-link type.
Sides: average, nothing special.
DA RIBS ARE EXCELLENT! Fall off the bone, not dry, great flavor, and meaty!
Almost wanted to jump in car and go back for a couple of racks, but knew I would just hurt myself!
I will definitely return for more!
Suggest a la carte availability...i.e. meats only or by the pound.

Great ribs, cool atmosphere, and friendly workers. We went on a Friday evening and the music was incredibly loud, but the food definitely made up for the too-loud noise. The ribs were super tender and the barbecue sauce was spicy and very flavorful. I definitely recommend this place.

Just stopped in here for the first time and I was very pleasantly surprised. I tried the chopped brisket sandwich and it had to be one of the best sandwich's I've ever had! Please go try it out!
