My Husband and I went here for our anniversary and loved it. The staff were very friendly and accomadating . We look forward to bringing my inlaws here in the near future. The prawns were great , The calamari was good , my husband had the shrimp with edamame and really enjoyed it. Also great price for a nice date night. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our night so nice !

Yao Fuzi is a wonderful restaurant with great service and the food is worth every cent you pay for. I love going for lunch and having a lunch portion and dinner is just a wonderful experience for your taste buds. One item on the menu which I have only found in New York is the soup dumplings... you need to try this!! You will love it!

Yao Fuzi is an upscale restaurant with modern decor, fancy tablecloths, big decorative dishes, exotic drinks, an attentive wait staff (who also speak perfect English with no or barely noticeable accent), and an interesting menu with mostly Chinese dishes.

We ordered mostly traditional Chinese dishes and they were all very good. Dishes were a bit on the salty side and had strong flavors (we usually get hot oil and soy sauce at other Chinese restaurants but we did not need them here). Food presentation was great but the portions were small (no doggie bags needed).

Prices were definitely on the high side and the target clientele is upscale food connoisseurs who are willing to pay for food presentation, service, and atmosphere.

We discovered Yao Fuzi thanks to TripAdvisor earlier this year. Have had dinner her 3-4 times since then and we just picked up a large takeout order last night. The food is consistently better than any other Chinese restaurant in the Dallas-area. We love the crispy beef, pepper beef and jalapeno chicken. Crab wontons and spring rolls are outstanding, too! Wine list is expensive but filled with some gems if you are a collector. Highly recommend Yao Fuzi!

The food has always been excellent - both flavorful and with fresh ingredients. The drawback is the price. It is expensive and that the kind of place that you you would go to on a regular basis. The service is impecable and the atmosphere inviting. Dinner conversation is at a normal speech level - there is no need to shout to those seating across from you. This is the kind of place that you would go to for a special event or a nice dinner out.
