The prices are really good and the food is good as well. The only complaint we had was that 2 of us ordered the same dish (short stack w/ 1 egg) hers over easy, mine scrambled with a side of beans. They mixed up the eggs, but no big deal. Husband's breakfast was 2 eggs, hash browns, beans, bacon and tortillas for less than $4. Yum!

Taco Fiesta on South Cage in Pharr Tx is a busy place and rightly so. It is cheap, with several daily lunch specials in the 5.99 range and a Mexican food buffet for those with big appetites. Service is good and the breakfast is good as well. I recommend the machacado (shredded dried beef) con juevo alla mexicana. Their caldo (homemade soup) is very good on a cool day.

I grew up within walking distance of their S. Cage location in Pharr, & so we would often go here for a family breakfast & lunch. Food is wonderful & served hot & quickly. Prices are beyond reasonable for the quality & portions served. There are two other locations (N. Cage in Pharr & McColl in Mcallen). You can't go wrong with any of their locations! Servers are friendly & prompt, & the food is the best you'll be able to find among many local Mexican restaurants. Lunch hour is usually very busy, but it is worth the wait.

I'm a gringo that loves Mexican food. The deeper you get in the valley of Texas, the more authentic that food becomes. You can get great Tex-Mex all over Texas, but good Mexican is hard to find. The valley is full of family owned restaurants that fill cater to the locals. This location is one of those gems. The food is tasty, freshly made, and served with an attitude. It won't lower your cholesterol, but you'll want to wear those pants that allow a little extra room.

Taco Fiesta was definitely an unexpected gem during our recent trip to Baltimore. While looking rather unassuming from the outside, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was fun. I highly recommend the pork quesadillas and homemade mango salsa. My daughter, who normally only eats Mexican rice, devoured her cheese quesadilla and the fresh chips. They have an entire salsa bar filled with homemade salsas but unfortunately we didn’t have time (nearing nap time) to try them all. While I was intrigued by the horchata (cinnamon rice milk) by the fountain sodas, I didn’t quite have the courage to try it. And, it was surprising how quickly the food came out. We had just ordered, filled our cups with soda and returned to our seats to start eating the chips when the rest of the food arrived. The only downside to the restaurant was that they didn’t have children’s portions and the prices are indicative of the quality of the food. However, if we lived in/near Baltimore then I could easily see this being one of our go-to spots for lunch/dinner.
