The large shrimp plate had 7 jumbo shrimp that were lightly battered and served fresh and hot. All the hot food came to the table hot so you know it was cooked after we ordered not sitting under a heat lamp in the back. The fires had a nice crunch to them, the hush puppies were very tasty as were the pinto beans. The cole slaw was nothing special but it was fresh and served cold. We also enjoyed fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. Many of the appetizers can be ordered by the half order which is great. They give you time to finish your appetizer before they bring your main course. The place is super casual, family friendly and at good prices. Beer and wine are available. The regular catfish plate has 5 good sized filets on it so we should have ordered the small with 3 filets. Staff was friendly and attentative. Never had an empty glass. The menu has several salads, as well as peel n eat shrimp shrimp cocktail. Good place to go for a casual dinner with friends. Locally owned too!
