The large shrimp plate had 7 jumbo shrimp that were lightly battered and served fresh and hot. All the hot food came to the table hot so you know it was cooked after we ordered not sitting under a heat lamp in the back. The fires had a nice crunch to them, the hush puppies were very tasty as were the pinto beans. The cole slaw was nothing special but it was fresh and served cold. We also enjoyed fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. Many of the appetizers can be ordered by the half order which is great. They give you time to finish your appetizer before they bring your main course. The place is super casual, family friendly and at good prices. Beer and wine are available. The regular catfish plate has 5 good sized filets on it so we should have ordered the small with 3 filets. Staff was friendly and attentative. Never had an empty glass. The menu has several salads, as well as peel n eat shrimp shrimp cocktail. Good place to go for a casual dinner with friends. Locally owned too!

All fried food with plastic forks and nothing healthy at all. I ordered chicken and it was terrible. Food service was slow and it's no wonder most of the customers are obese. Everything is fried.

We have eaten at this restaurant and mainly we have done carry out. Either way it is consistantly great....no matter how you get it no difference. I refuse to eat Catfish anywhere else. Their family pack goes without question. Get their coleslaw, beans, hushpuppies, they have fired dill pickles...when my husband brings this home I eat and eat and eat until I can't but put catfish in front of me anywhere else, no way. I don't know how they do it but their catfish is always in filet pieces, almost like cod....not grainy or slimy. Deep fried with what taste like a cornmeal base. Every piece comes out fantastic, never hard as if someone fried it too long and always fresh as if they fried it just for you. You can't go wrong with this Catfish dish....to die for and now they have buffet..hope they never go out of business for any reason...I have enjoyed them for 26 years!

good old texas style cooking! Fried catfish and shirmp and hush puppies are terrific. Their HUGE salads are to die for! Country Texas atmosphere with a real family-feel.
