This is a hidden treasure. The lake is very nice and has a couple of sandy areas to access and have a picnic. The walk around it is very relaxing. Do visit when sun has gone down or early in the morning as there is no shade on the walking trail.

They have paddle boats, one man boats and lots of picnic tables and a big covered area. Lots pf ducks and several boat docks with a nice trail all the way around the lake. Plenty of parking.

This lake is very nice for jogging, kayaking, walking the dog, picnic, biking , water baptism and provides enough space for children to play and a lot of space for parking.

During spring, blue bonnets abounds that makes the lake very beautiful.

Nice 3 mile trail to run solo, with the dog, or with the fam. Also has a park for children, docks to fix from, and a covered area for cooling off.

A great local park for all to visit. You can swim, run or walk, bicycle, and more. You can even rent canoes there to go out on the lake ($$$). Lots of open areas to fly kites, or have parties. A pavilion exists for covered areas.

Lots of small trees, would love to see more trees planted (that grow fast) so there could be more shade from the Texas sun and heat in the future.
