“Keep Driving!!!”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

We stopped at this Denny's in Pecos, TX the evening of Jan, 6th, 2013. First we were greeted by the Restaurant Manager who showed no discretion showing lot's of cleavage. Then we were seated and and not even greeted by our rude waitress. She seemed to be in a bad mood during our entire time there. She brought our full juice carafe but we had no glasses. We waited five min. to get them. They were out of Ranch dressing. When our food was served we had no utensils. Our waitress brought us forks and napkins but no knives. Food was not hot enough and not very good. We saw other servers listening to music with their headphones on while serving customers, another server sitting at tables chatting with customer friends, and others just fooling around the hostess desk instead of cleaning the filthy restaurant. When we went to the hostess desk to pay our bill the manager reprimanded a server right in front of us.
What an awful dining experience!!! We don't recommend this Denny's. Please keep driving and dine elsewhere!!! I hope a Denny's Representative reads this and get's the Denny's in Pecos, TX some much needed help.

“One Denny's worst!!!”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

On the road a lot and Denny's are always open late nights. When on the road, eat at Denny's often since they serve breakfast 24/7. The one in Pecos is inside a Flying J and where I usually buy gas at their stations. The service at this Denny's is absolutely terrible, rude staff, the food was worse. Served cold... Ordered 2 eggs (which was only luke warm), pancakes were cold and the hash browns were fried crisp, you could bounce them off the floor and the bacon was just about as bad! The restaurant temp was cold and dirty. When I complained about the food being cold, hostess said it was because the restaurant was cold???? More likely, the pancakes, hash browns and bacon were pre-cooked and sat off to the side. And do not use their rest rooms... You will not be able to eat if you do and if you use after, guaranteed, you'll lose it going in there. If you are traveling on I-20, drive another 80 miles to IHOP.

About the only place to eat in Pecos. Very new. Waitress and cook were battling but were able to get out a rather expensive breakfast.
A donut shop ferther up north of motel same street is open. Would recommend it Everything in Pecos is high priced.

“Bad by even Denny's standar”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

I never expect much from a Denny's except consistency but this one even failed that test. Food was plentiful but completely tasteless and served lukewarm. However, our server was friendly and helpful. Restaurant could use a good cleaning.

“Run, run, run away!”
Reviewed May 8, 2012

Holy crap.

This was possibly the most disgusting Denny's I have ever been in!

Nasty, nasty, nasty.

I realize it's not supposed to be fine dining, but geez, c'mon.

Where is Gordon Ramsey or the Undercover Boss show when you need it?

We ended up in Pecos pretty late and this was all that was available.

Sticky, dirty, nasty, yuck...

I figure the place is bad when even the guys working on the oil wells send their food back!

If you end up in Pecos, Texas late at night and all that's open is Denny's...go to the local Walmart and buy some bread and a jar of peanut butter. It will be a far superior (and much cleaner!) experience!

If this is a corporate owned Denny's...you need to take a trip to Pecos, Texas. Pronto.

If this is a privately owned franchise...you should be ashamed.
