“Won't be going back!”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

Not impressed by the food. One of our meals was better than the other but the other one was so atrocious it went virtually untouched - cold fries, canned carrots and peas and a large burger under a thick brown gelatinous gravy that was described on the menu as mushroom and white wine sauce.

“Don't aim for a late night meal!”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Our meal at the Alpine Inn was more than adequate, but we almost didn't get it. There is not much to keep Pecos awake after it gets dark, and most of the local eateries seem to close up early. We just barely got to the Alpine Inn before it closed at 8:30 PM.

That said, the staff was really very nice to us late-comers, and we never felt hurried to leave so they could close up. Try the Schnitzel! It was very good.

“Best restaurant in Pecos”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

That's not saying much. But, if you can get a room in the attached Best Western hotel you'll have the best lodging and place to eat in all of Pecos.

“Good food and great service”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Overall, pretty good food. The daily Breakfast and lunch buffet is ok, but if you stay for more than a few days, you will notice the same buffets on certain days of the week. They also serve alcohol and have a smoking section in the lounge. Hands down, the best place in Pecos.

“Far from the Alp's”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

It was just okay. Service is not the best unless you get lucky. The Ribeye is fatty and tough, but the burger and club are good and served with thick fries.
