“Good BBQ and price”

We dined in and had ribs and pulled pork. The ribs were very good and the sauce on the pork was delicious. Will definitely return!

“Pearland's family BBQ”
Reviewed April 30, 2013 via mobile

Ever since Spring Creek came to Pearland, they have been a reliable source of decent food, good atmosphere and great service... and fresh hot rolls straight from the oven. Local elementary schools constantly partner with Spring Creek for fundraising nights, which is a great time to meet new families and enjoy many people's company.

Starting with the BBQ, the ribs are the way to go. Spring Creek's pride and joy, these bad boys are cooked in front of you as you file through the front door to a cafeteria style line. Prepared with as much love as secret sauce, they are always moist, tender and sweet (but not too sweet). Say sweet isn't your thing though, you can always find comfort in their smoky brisket and spicy sausage. The brisket is handled with care, almost as much as the sausage. It usually has a nice crust and always has visible smoke rings. Both varieties of sausage (spicy and regular) are good, and you will hardly be left disappointed by a mixed plate. They also have chicken and turkey, and though these birds are nothing to write home about, they are still pretty good.

Make your way down the line a bit, and you come across the sides. These consist of green beans, BBQ beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and corn on the cob. Pretty rudimentary, and you can have as much as your plate can hold( none for the chopped baker I'm afraid). Don't pass up the dessert rack though, pass up everything but the banana pudding.

You get a choice (crowds permitting) of a booth or table. Almost anywhere you sit, there is a television in your direct line of site, usually tuned to a ball game or sports center. Everything is clean, and the staff is well put together. You will be offered a hit role at least every ten minutes. After leaving the restaurant, you will most likely find yourself quite satisfied.

“EXCELLENT!!!!”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

We love this place and eat here frequently. The B-B-Q is excellent!! The fried okra is EXCELLENT. It is very difficult to find fried okra at restaurants that is cooked right. Usually it is cut too thick and not fried long enough...Not at Spring Creek. It is thick, but fried crisp. The macaroni and cheese is very tasty, too. Coleslaw is very good and rolls are Mmmmm.....YUM!! The ribs are lean and meaty. The brisket is great and so is the pulled pork. The chicken is just as yummy. The only think I haven't tried is the sausage, and I'm sure it is just as good as the rest. The service is always good and it is not unusual for the owner to come around and stand and chat. Very friendly atmosphere. Price is good, too.

“Good bbq, good price”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

This, in my opinion, is trhe best bbq in Pearland. The black pepper sausage is very tasty, and the brisket shows the smoke layers. While it would be good without the sauce, the sauce adds to ther flavor. The sides are typical but tasty. Plus additional bread hot out of the oven is brought around while you dine.
