“Consistently Good Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2010

My family has been to Two Cities several times since they opened.
We tend to always order from the American Cuisine so we can't really comment on their Mexican food...except for the Chips & Salsa(very good!). We've consistently been pleased with the quality of the food there!
For the most part, the wait staff are outstanding. Our only complaint is that they weren't in a hurry to settle up our ticket. But, in a way, that's good that we didn't feel rushed. :)
The ambience is quite original with a huge collection of old signs. The most recognizable is the old Gilley's sign.

“Greasy steak, cold potato, lousy service--who needs it?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2010

Went there at 6:40, happy hour until 7:00. Ordered a double scotch, waited and waited, asked about it three times. Finally got it, but when the check came, guess what? Happy hour had come and gone while I waited. I was charged $13 dollars for one drink.
Lousy service from indifferent waitress. Asked for hot sauce three times, finally got it when meal half eaten. No refill on water. Steak was greasy, fatty, and tough, and the potato was undercooked and cold. Because I was eating alone this night, I was virually ignored while she fawned of a party of four right next to me in the expectation of a bigger tip.

We have tried to make it right by reaching out to this reviewer to apologize through e mail and yet with no response. In our defense a double is 2 drinks and the scotch ordered was top shelf. I believe Dewars. No one has their top shelf alcohols on happy hour, at least not that we know of. As for the service and food we have apologized for that as well and have taken the appropriate action. The assumption that she was "fawning" for another tip is just that, an assumption. When the manager came by the table and asked how everything was the reply was positive. We really wish we had the opportunity then to make it right.

“Two Cities - Great place for your next party or gathering”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2010

Tried this place over the holidays, really neat atmosphere. Decor has a lot of antique items from the area and atmosphere was lively. Food and drinks were both very good, and was a great value for what I paid. Waiter seemed a little new, but very cheery and accommodating.

It is my understanding that there are new owners/managers from what was there years back, and they are making tons of changes to make it even more fun. Definitely worth a try!

“I won't go back”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2010

Last night was my first time to eat at this resturant since it changed names. I found that the service was slow with our drink orders and reorders. The food came out in a timely manner, but the order was wrong. My baked potato was not hot enough to melt the butter. We asked and were told that the dinner salad would be large but when it came out, it was not too large and not much meat... not enough to fill up a small lady. There was problems with their credit card machine and we had to wait and additional 15 to 20 minutes.. we were offered free margarittas while we waited, but it took so long to get the first ones, we didn't want to wait.
