“Saw the sign and glad we stopped”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2012

The hunger pangs hit us and there was the Mamacita's sign... so we decided to give it a try and we were glad we did. It was Saturday night and crowded but didn't take long for us to be seated and have our drinks. There was live entrainment and they were fun to listen to but not overpowering. The real treat was in the food. My wife and I shared combination fajitas and they were some of the best I have ever tasted... and my wife enjoyed her margaritas. The food was very excellent, the service was every good, the entertainment was fun and the price was reasonable. Not much more to ask for!

“Good changes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2012

When bought by other members of the original family, some changes were bound to happen. Some are obvious physical things like a great new patio but there are some menu changes that are good, too. Great place for large groups to meet.

“Mamaritas”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2012

It's now called Mamaritas, but seems unchanged otherwise. I like the seafood enchiladas.

“If You're in the Area & Want Something a Little Different...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2011

We've never been REALLY impressed w/ this place, although many friends love it. They do have a decent selection of "Not Tex-Mex" plates, which is nice. The problem seems to be that they use the exact same items (meat, beans, etc) on
most of the main dishes. When a
group of us went together & each
got different plates (the "Yucatan"
plates, as someone else noted), we
tasted one anothers' & found that
they were way too similar... All pretty good, but much alike. That being said, their food does have a different taste than most places around here, & they also have a decent vegetarian selection. As I said in the title of this review, if you are in the area, give them a shot- just don't make a special trip!

“I've been to better...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2010

Only green sauce and bean dip with the chips. Chips and green sauce were good.

Service was a little slow and the place was quite noisy. Light above the table didn't work and the waiter said he was unable to fix it.

The menu had limited selections, but the portions were fairly good. Prices seamed reasonable.
