My husband and I went to the Cork & Pig about a month ago and enjoyed the food a great deal!! We both had the pecan crusted trout along with grilled veggies. They were out of the asparagus that came with it but substitute it with another grilled veggie. The trout was cooked just right with white flack meat inside and a yummy crust on the outside! I had a nice Chardonnay with it, I didn't remember the wine name but it was an up grade from the house wine. The spices were not over barring on the fish & the presentation was nice. The food was great, but the restaurant was a little noisy which couldn't be helped with the large crowd there. We did how ever get a seat very quickly which I didn't think it would happen. Do be careful when going back toward the rest rooms. There's an area next to the place the waiters pour the drinks for water and tea that can get wet and slippery. I advise to go around the other longer way and avoid the area near the drink station.

Being from Dallas and now living in Midland it is hard to find a restaurant that reminds me of home and the Cork and Pig does it for me. We always go here on date nights, business lunches, and friends for dinner. I have tried most the menu and my favorite was the ribs, tomatoes with blue cheese and the key lime pie!!! Its so good I think I will go back for lunch tomorrow. Be sure to get their early there is usually a wait!

We went on a Sunday before the church crowd arrived, no wait and plenty of waitstaff. (Around here that's rare.) The food is all made with fresh ingredients, at least that's what the waiter said. I got one of the burgers. HOLY COW! He should have warned me how big it was! It was made with ground steak and was heavenly! When I put it all together, it must've been 4 inches tall! The service was wonderful and the food divine. The entry to the restaurant is a little strange, but the atmosphere is beautiful. I highly recommend.

This business has an identity crisis. As far as the food, it is by far excellent. I had the baby back ribs. They were good but a little over cooked. My wife had the Texas burger which was also excellent. The server was superb.

But the menu was very abbreviated on choices. If this is a pub, there were very few appetizers to choose from. No wings were on the menu and this is a BBQ place! And were no dinner rolls available with my baby back ribs. There was one other BBQ item that we did not try.

The location was nice, but the entrance was a little hard to find. The atmosphere had the feeling of a pub. Open, friendly and alive. The strange part was that if this is a pub - there were just a couple of TVs with sports on. We sat near them, but the screens were too small to tell what was going on.
