Owner description: NRH2O Family Water Park, located in North Richland Hills, Texas, was established in 1995 as the first municipally owned water park in Texas. The park has become a popular attraction in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This 17- acre water park includes 22 waterslides, the world's largest uphill watercoaster,a 5-level interactive water playground, a children's area, wave pool, endless river, a “tween” area featuring a “lagoon” style pool, tech deck and sand volleyball court and the Viper, the first of its kind in the world! NRH2O is known in the Metroplex for its safe, friendly, clean environment and reasonable prices. NRH2O traditionally opens the week before Memorial Day and closes after Labor Day. Eighty percent of guests live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, while the other twenty percent of attendance is comprised of tourists.

This is our 4th year as season pass holders, and that's the main draw for us - we live 10 minutes away, and our NRH residency gives us a break on the season pass. That means that we can decide to go for even just an hour, and we can go as often as we want. Season pass holders also have access to special early or late hours, which is a nicer way to enjoy the park. NRH20 is an NRH institution, and its a great way to stay cool in the summer. There are a wide variety of slides, rides and water features to choose from, and that generally means that the crowds are spread out. The only things that can have very long lines are the Green Extreme and (newish) Viper - that's what we love about the special hours for season pass holders. All in all, its a good summer value for locals. My main complaint is that the park doesn't really seem to monitor how much supervision there is for large groups, so a day that's heavy with summer camp groups can make or break your experience. We've cut a few of our visits short because kids were just running amok. In general, though, we love having a large water park with reasonable admission rates and that is so close to home (and that will let you bring in your food and drinks, provided you haven't just picked it up from a restaurant.)

By going to the local water park NRH2O, you have a Staycation and a touch of a island resort. They have great parking, great customer service, and the view and landscaping is beautiful. The food is great, their is a first aid station, lots of life guards, and a gift shop, and dip and dot shop. I go every day when my grand daughters are here and the water park has everything for every age.

This is a great smaller water park for kids. They have some great slides, wave pool, kiddie area, and of course the endless river. This park is smaller than Hurricane Harbor so it is really good for young teens and smaller kiddos. There is no fee for parking and you can bring your cooler in for free as well. Coupons are generally easy to find. We go here once or twice every summer. We live in Argyle within 10 minutes of Hawaiian Falls but we prefer NRH20 hands down.

This is a great waterpark. We took our granddaughters, ages 4 and 6. They had a great time. They have a really large children's area- much larger than the one at Hawaiian Falls that we went to. They also have some larger slides and a fun lazy river. The park is very clean and has a lot of loungers in shaded areas. We will definitely go back!

Very clean! Free parking. Most staff was friendly...one lifeguard was very rude at every ride she worked. They have great slides for teens and adults and a fantastic area for the younger ones. Can bring in your own food (no restaurant food though) or buy from a few different concession stands with burgers, chicken strips, pizza, etc.
