A group of two families, 8 people stayed at the Schlitterbahn East Rapids 3BR Condos.
First, these are basically like apartments/townhomes. A cluser of limited parking and maybe 20 units.
Schlitterbahn purchased surrounding properties and now rents them. $349 a night is just OUTRAGEOUS. I normally stay at Marriott caliber hotels, the decor here was like Motel 6.
Very disappointed by train and mowing crew noise at 1am and 7am daily.
The 3BR has 3 small bedrooms upstairs, one bath combo.
Fold out sofa bed and 1/2 bath (Toilet sink only) downstairs. Kitchen is nice, and laundry room nice.
Seriously dated in 70's though.
The walk to office and on property activities is 5min and crowded, so we drove since having little kids.
The park was great, the best anywhere, but hotel is NOT.
I would say $149 a night is a fair rate for this room.
I did see other cottages, and the 3br cottage is much better option and more scenic.
Could not bear to take a pic, it was just motel 6 but larger.
