First, the atmosphere of the old buildings that house the restaurant and the surrounding shops is perfect for this small community. Second, We have not found anything on the menu we have not liked. Our last visit we started with the Fried Brie with raspberry sauce, followed with the soup of the day, their cream of mushroom and brie, and for entree we had the portabella mushroom sandwich which we split since we knew how big it was and we were having a dessert. Note that the location is not on San Antonio Street, but just off it behind another building. Directly across the RR tracks from the Fire Station Museum. There is plenty of parking in the back. On Friday and Saturday evenings enjoy a glass of wine from their wine bar outside among the old shops

Dined with a party of 7 on a Saturday night. We went fairly early, around 6 pm. Our wait was minimal. Our server was very pleasant and thorough. I ordered the special - Herb crusted Mahi - and I highly recommend it. Great food.

We stayed several days in NB getting a taste for the town since we're considering relocating to there from the big city. We spent much of our time inside the loop or downtown and this was our favorite spot. Nice atmosphere, good New American type menu and extensive reasonably-priced wine list and service was spot-on. Walk across the street to the Pour Haus for a drink before or afterwards.

Great Texas beer, good food and attentive service. Long wait for a table but we sat in their outdoors area with bar and appetizer service and were completely happy until we could be seated for dinner.

We ate here for lunch after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. First, just a word of caution. When you arrive at 303 W San Antonio Drive, you will not see the restaurant. There is a store front at this address, and at least now, there is a pottery shop where you would expect the restaurant. The restaurant actually sits behind this store front. Now for the setting and the food. The restaurant itself is charming with great history. And the food is interesting and delicious. Lunch prices are very reasonable. Three of us had lunch for $43, which included a tip. The chicken tortilla soup was yummy, with very interesting flavors. Our daughter ordered an asian salad with salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly. There were two dressings, an asian dressing and a ginger and mango dressing. Order the dressings on the side if you want to be able to use them more as dipping sauces. Great food and good service. A great place to eat.
