Let me first say we stayed here Monday thru Wenesday in our RV, it maybe more noisy on the weekends.
This was the first time me and my son ever went camping, we rented an RV.
There was a slight mix up that I originally canged from Sunday to Wednesday to Monday - Wednesday however it was quickly resoveled the next morning
Very quiet and right on the river, I would stay here again

What a mess this place is. Yes the water is right there....the bathrooms are a disgusint mess. No one has ever cleaned them. Dead bugs and cobwebs everywhere. I was scared to step in the showers. The cost was rediculous. $45 per night for a pop up, $1.00 for a shower and then if anyone coomes to stay for the day they charge $20 per person. My daughter and son in law stayed with us in the cmaper but didn't arrive with us so they had to pay an additional $65 for the two nights - what a rip off. For $75 per night we could have stayed in a cabin on the river and had a clean bathroom, and the comforts of home. About ten on Sturday night a group of motorcycles came in and didn't have to pay a dime - we checked to see if they had tags on their bikes and they didn't. It was a terrible place and I don't recommend it to anyone....

Room Tip: Don't stay here

No amenities, very high prices, little goods in the camp store, and a very disorganized staff makes this campgraound one to avoid. We camped there month to month and they made us move three times from spot to spot until we just gave up.

This place charges $30 per vehicle entering, with up to 4 people per vehicle. There really aren't defined spaces. You just pay to get in and then camp anywhere off the roads once inside. This was not an issue for us since the place wasn't overly busy in May but come summer you could get stuck camping in a less than desirable spot. This would also be a drawback come the middle of the summer or holidays. At most locations in the area you can make a reservation well in advance and be guaranteed a good site. There were many people partying while we were there but they did come around and enforce the noise after midnight. All in all it wasn't a bad stay but I would search for other places come the busier times of the year.

The camp site locations are all good enough and the river was low making for shallow dives. The only rules enforced were that every car pay $30.00. That would be OK if the 12 midnight noise rule was enforced. Twice the Sheriffs Dept was called to quell fights and more than one camp site played very loud music till 04:43 both nights we were their...no sleep for many at the site. Monday work schedule suffered tremendously. This was NOT a quite weekend at the River. Day trips are fine, however avoid camping overnight.
