This place is old and full of character, a great place for a couple to spend the night. Also the bar has some unique offerings with food and beer. The Ambiance is wonderful. A must for anyone travelling here and wants to take in the beauty this town has to offer..

Seated 5 people at a tiny table. Processed sliced turkey.
Mix dressing, wait in line, out of one
Thing or another. Food cold!
They could improve a lot. Could not get seated on time either, had a time slot. In essence, forget ir unless u like canned cranberry sauce too.

Walking into the old Faust hotel is like stepping back in time. It's a beautiful old hotel! The bar is nice, too, so we decided to have some drinks and dinner here. Our group of 6 tried several of their original beers, then opted to go back to familiar favorites. Didn't realize until we got the bill that some of these were $9.50 a pop! Appetizers were tasty, but skimpy. We had queso, garlic shrimp, and stuffed mushrooms, all prepared well and quite good. We each got 1 shrimp, 1/2 a mushroom, and a bit more queso. This left us still hungry for more, so we ordered sandwiches and burgers. Nothing to write home about... When the bill came, we thought we had eaten at a really nice restaurant, because it was quite a bit more than we had anticipated. Next time we will go to the nice restaurant and have a better meal for an equivalent amount of money.

A reasonable selection of pretty good beers, the noise level can be quite loud, the food is just okay. It can be nice sitting outside when the weather isn't too hot. Service is good.
