Beautiful lobby, restaurant and bar area so I was expecting a little more from our room. It was just okay. Beds were hard even after adjusting them, bathroom was average. The room was nice, good linens, nice tv, desk and chair but was extremely small. With one suitcase there seemed to be no space to walk around the beds. Breakfast was delicious, but not free, waitress and front desk were very friendly and helpful.

First of all, thank you for your review of your past stay at our hotel. I always appreciate hearing from our guests - including the great things about our property as well as items of opportunity. I apologize that we were unable to accommodate your reserved room type and the beds were not as comfortable as expected, even when adjusted. I’ve let our vendors and maintenance staff know about your feedback on the bed. Our front desk department goes through a lengthy process each day to ensure that our guests receive exactly the room expected, however it looks like you may have needed a bit more space. Next time, let us try to get you that bigger room and comfy bed. Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience and do hope that the next time you travel to the area you will consider staying with us again.

We booked this hotel on the same day as arrival because we were hoping the price would drop and it did. We called the hotel directly. A few weeks before the rate was quite high and we just waited it out til the price dropped. We were here to go to Schlitterbaun and it was probably 5 minutes from the park. Our room had 2 queen beds and one sofa bed. When I called we got the "romance" package and they included whatever we wanted cooked to order for breakfast. The room was lovely and modern with 2 tvs. The beds were comfortable and linens of high quality. The pillows were very fluffy til you laid on them and then they went completely flat (bring your own!). The sofa bed has a very small mattress and is only appropriate for one adult or 2 small children. It was a quiet and very clean room. We had a huge made to order breakfast that was outstanding. We had waffles, pancakes, french toast and omelettes. It was yummy, quick and we had an excellent server. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

We stayed here very recently with friends and found this to be a very nice and clean hotel. The service was great and the kids enjoyed the pool very much! I was dissapointed however, to stay at such a nice place and be expected to pay for a continental breakfast! 6 bucks a person! We have 3 children and the other family that came with us had 4 children. Considering we stayed for 2 days that is very expensive so we hit the McDonalds 1 minute up the road. Overall this was a very nice place to stay and all the adults and children really enjoyed the freshly baked cookies!! I slept like a baby on the comfy beds! We would stay here again!

Room Tip: If you have a family, I reccomend the jr suites!

I recently stayed at this hotel & booked the suite as it offers two queen beds & a double pull out sofa bed for a very reasonable price. I had previously stayed at the Marriott Courtyard. This hotel is more economical. If you aren't planning on spending multiple days at Schlitterbahn this is a nice choice. It is new, clean, and easy to get to. There is also a lot of inexpensive fast food options nearby. I calculated the price of Schlitterbahn 1 day tickets in the comparisons between staying here & booking on site at Schlitterbahn and this property comes out to be less expensive as you aren't charged for park tickets for each day of your stay. The only negative is that it doesn't offer a spa tub and the restaurant menu is very limited. However, I would stay here again for another quick trip to Schlitterbahn. If I was planning on staying for a while, I'd consider Schlitterbahn on site or the Marriott as the Marriot has more to do on site.

Room Tip: It is a small property so most rooms would be fine. Park in the back to get easier access to the el...

We stayed at this hotel for a week in June 2012 for our family vacation, and we were very pleasantly surprised! Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms, in fact, the entire hotel was very well kept including the pool and laundry facilities! The hotel staff were exceptional and had many great dining suggestions! The rooms were very beautiful and up-to-date as was the entire hotel. Also, appreciated the microwave and fridge! Very centrally located to all area activities, including Schlitterbahn Water Park. Fresh, hot cookies waiting in lobby every evening when we came in! Overall, we were very impressed with this hotel! We highly recommend!!!

Room Tip: Highly recommend a suite for a family of 4! More room to move about in with younger travelers! Plus...

This hotel is about as good as it gets in the decor category for budget-conscious traveler, but the beds are a huge problem. I had read about this being an issue, but we stayed here anyway because of our ability to use HHonors points. The beds have a hidden dial that is supposed to allow you to adjust the firmness of your mattress. We followed the instructions on both beds (you're not supposed to sit on them while they're adjusting) and when we got back on...still hard as a rock! This was was really the only negative thing we have to say about the hotel, but it's a biggie, especially when you're been driving for a very long time. All other aspects of the hotel: food, service, cleanliness, etc., are fine (note that breakfast is not included, however).

Room Tip: Ask for a room with working adjustable beds, if there are any.
