We drove 10 hours (one way) to go- our first ever visit and it was FANTASTIC! We stayed in the newly renovated cabins (room 325) and went 2 full days at the waterpark. We went in an hour early (resort visitors get in 1 hour before park opens) both days and headed for the rides that have the longest lines (water slides in new park- long floats in old park). Glad we did, lines were long on Saturday(an hour) for most things at the older park. Loved the falls, river float rides, lazy river, slides and even the food. We did take in some snacks but also got pizza, corn cobs, chicken strips, FF, funnel cakes, and all were good. Cabin was really neat with lots of wood accents- countertops, furniture, floors ect. Comfy beds & full kitchen. Would book cabin again for sure! We got a cabana both days and was a little disappointed with both cabanas accessibility and ease of obtaining. It would be nice if lockers were actually in your cabana and your cabana was in the middle of the fun not so secluded and out of the way. We've had cabanas at Disney and Whitewater that were located in the middle of the action and had lockers. Nice, helpful and friendly staff (I'm nice and friendly too)! This fun-in-the-sun trip destination was perfect for our family of 4- 2 kids ages 11 & 9! Will go back!!
