“Go-to Mexican Choice in Nac”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

We live in Nacogdoches, so we have several Mexican choices when we want to go to a Mexican restaurant. Over the years we have come to choose Jalapeno Tree more often than we choose any other. The food is excellent Tex-Mex. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable.

“Great food, atmosphere and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

Ate here with a party of 6, all ordered different entrees. Everything tasted fresh and was very flavorful. I'm picky with TexMex and this was great. We visited on a Saturday night and the place was busy but this did not affect the service. Waiter was attentive, food was delivered fast, hot and exactly as ordered. Multiple tv's in the dining area gave it a sports bar feel. The noise level was pretty high but not so much that we couldn't carry on a conversation. Not a place I would recommend for a "quiet" dinner.
