An enjoyable experience. As a Nac resident I have visited probably half-a-dozen or more times, especially during special events. Staff are cheerful and helpful. The historical displays rival small museums.

Heard this was a great little town to visit but it wasn't. Took a family Sunday drive to see this oldest town in Texas but everything was closed. Walked around the old buidlings and walked up the hill to the Cadoo Indian Mound - if the sign wasn't there I would have thought it was the dirt mound next door, which was bigger! Nothing in the entire town worth visiting - guess my friends were right on that one. I love history and enjoy old towns but this was a waste of our day.
We had expected to spend a couple hours touring and shopping before heading over to ZipNac (thank goodness for them as the fun we had there saved the day), ended up spending over an hour in the over-priced Marble Slab.

Took a tour sponsered by the Visitor Center and was treated to a very informative hour and half visual history of the City. The museum portion of the Center is top quality and the workers were very helpful to provide answers to our questions about the city and its history.

Convienient location in the center of downtown Nacogdoches. Helpful staff and a nice building to cool of in while learning some of the history of Nacogdoches.

This is a beautiful historic building that is easy to find downtown. The restrooms were very clean, and they have coupons for local shops and restaurants that helped us save a few bucks. They had three people at the desk who didn't look that busy, and they weren't very friendly or helpful. Oh well -- it isn't that hard to figure out Nacogdoches!
