“Best Onion Rings Around”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

This place has the best onion rings that money can buy. The small is enough for about 3 people. The large comes on a plate stacked about 8" high. The catfish is also great. I usually have the bacon cheese burger. The burgers more than satisfy any burger craving. Wish they offered a blue cheese version. Be prepared to be stuffed when you leave. Service is above par for what is typical in Midland right now.

“Not Bad”
Reviewed August 2, 2013 via mobile

There is no doubt about it...this is a chain. Lots of corporate menu creations made at the factory i am sure. BUT, that doesnt mean it was bad. I had a cup of the jalepeno crawfish chowder and it was so darn good i ordered another. I also had the grilled fish tacos off of the "skinny" menu and they were also pretty good. The rest of the menu is admittedly pretty basic and fried. But i had no complaints with what i ate. However, why dont they have a TV at the bar? A business guy like me wandering into this place alone appreciates eating at the bar and watching a little TV. Somebody tell the manager...youre right next to the Courtyard after all.

“The onion rings rock.”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

When I am in the mood for onions rings this is where we come. We have had hit or miss experiences with the food so we found a dish we each like and that's all we order. I order the salmon salad and my husband gets the the tilapia. We don't visit often but each time we come the onions rings are the best.

“We would not go back”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

We had not yet read the other poor reviews before we ended up here or we would not have gone. We had a poor experience and would not go back. Like other reviews we found it to be way over priced for what one receives and poor quality as well. This is a typical deep fried everything restaurant. So if you like large quantities of low quality deep fried foods this is your place. Much of it served on paper or styrofoam bowls and plates. I must admit this place is popular with the locals. It was very busy....of course the oversized crowd were like hogs to the trough. Our service was not that great either but she appeared overworked. The decor is "country" themed with hard wood floors and a barn like appearance. There are much better places to pick than this one.
