We made a reservation here since we had a late arriving flight so we wanted a hotel near the airport. Its about ten minutes from the airport. It was a weekday night and the place appeared completely full. The hotel is somewhat new so still has that new and fresh look. It is somewhat hard to find off the highway, especially when one is very tired arriving on a late flight. We had reserved a King room, but all they had were doubles, but we were so tired we took it. Unfortunatley our neighbors were loud. Quite loud and it was after midnight ! the walls are paper thin. I shouted through the wall to get them to quiet down. We did not sleep well that night. They have the typcial hotel continental breakfast in the lobby. The room itself had a mini-fridge, microwave, in-room coffee, etc.
We saw that they had a pool and it looked nice. Parking is limited when they are packed, so we ended up way back in the back (but we were probably one of the last guest to arrive that night). I would likely try a different place next time due to the noise and the mix-up in my reservation.

Checked in late in the afternoon with a reservation for a suite for 2 adults and 2 children. Unpacked in room and there were 4 pillows that were so flat they didn't provide any support.
When we asked for extra pillows they said none were available.

The desk clerk said our reservation was only for 2 people when we made it for 4 people and were looking at the printed reservation from Choice Hotels. The desk clerk was very rude and told us the reservation was our mistake and would not discuss it.

The hotel is next to a colosseum and with the concert that night we were serenaded until midnight.

One of the reasons for selecting the hotel was it was listed as wireless in all rooms. I tried to connect with my ipod and was told that the wireless only worked with Windows laptops. It was also suggested that I try other areas in the hotel to get a signal.

Great hotel with all the necessities. A little hard to find but after a few calls to the front desk it was not a problem. Coffee maker, frid and microwave are a plus. The water is bad tasting but conveniently they have water in the vending machine on each floor. Just make sure you have dollar bills. Bed was very comfortable to me although my son complained of being stiff both mornings. The breakfast is like most hotels. It was ample.
Nice new property worth paying a little extra.

We stayed at the Sleep Inn in Midland while driving across Texas, and although it was somewhat off of I-20 (thus a mile or two out of the way) it was definitely worth it. About ten miles out of Midland, I gave them a call, and the late manager gave me a good discounted rate given the late hour.

The room was very nice and quite spacious. It had a beautiful granite bathroom and shower. And the bed... wow. It had us looking for a mattress tag to figure out the type. It was overall one of the most comfortable hotels we've ever been in.

The had a nice looking swimming pool, with a very warm looking hot tub out there, and it looked like a little putting green as well. The breakfast was very good as well - bonus points for their waffle iron in the shape of Texas.

We spent two nights at the Sleep Inn in Midland TX. It was a very pleasant experience. The room and the public spaces were nicely decorated. It is spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was extra friendly. We would happily stay there again.
