On the face of it this is a lovely little village pub. The interior is lovely and done to a high standard. They seem to only employ 'the beautiful people'. Service lets it down as one of our party had their starter forgotten about - in fact we had all finished by the time his arrived and he was not offered anything except an apology. The food is ok at best, my starter of camembert bites was overdone, and the main was alright - I chose vegetable lasagne, the staple of the unimaginative pub menu! This place is always busy and obviously people must like it more than I did. The food and service need working on and this place could be great, but it is cheap!
