Description: For more than 500 years one of the staple foods of the Canary Islands has been a milled flour known as gofio, ground in windmills that at one time peppered the islands. Few working mills now remain. For Don Felipe, the man who first established the restaurant in the 1990s, the windmill of El Molino Blanco represented the traditions of his homeland. Today it reminds us of a fundamental food still prevalent in the Canary Islands and represents our commitment to preserving the best of Canarian traditional cuisine combined with the finest ingredients and years of culinary know-how to provide a unique and unforgettable dining experience. Choose from our inside dining room set within a traditional covered courtyard adorned with curios from Tenerife's rural heritage intertwined with rich foliage, or on our garden terrace with its scented flowers and lush tropical plantings. If it's a special occasion, why not book our intimate gazebo table set within the garden which gives you additional privacy in a rustically romantic setting. From the moment you set foot in El Molino Blanco we want to ensure you enjoy the very best food, service and entertainment so that you go home from your Tenerife holiday with precious memories to last a lifetime, or at least until you return to share your time with us again. "Through excellence in food, service, ambience and entertainment, to provide a feast for all the senses and a memorable dining experience customers will want to repeat"

“Good food and beautiful surroundings”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

Found this beautiful restaurant by accident, luckily. Spent there one great evening with good friends, good food and wine and great music and dancing. It was all so great! Staff was a little lost at the times as the place was full but they were so nice and friendly that it did not matter. Definetely go back there next time!

“Best New Year Ever”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

We went for New Years Eve 2012. We had a fabulous evening with a 8 course meal, each course served with a specially selected wine, even though we are not wine drinkers, we were served any drink we did ask for, soft drinks for me, beer for my husband. Our designated waiter was an absolute pleasure. Food was of the highest standard and served at a leasurely pace. With a very high standard of entertainers performing during the evening, midnight was celebrated in spectacular fashion, each table being given a bottle of champagne, party bags and homemade chocolates. We had a truly memorable evening, which we will be definitely be doing again.

Went expecting a lot for the price. The food was very unsatisfying and you could get a lot better value in some of the other restaurants! Also the new manager took a fancy to one of the younger females in our group and was very inappropriate towards her!

“not as good as last time”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

Having spent Christmas 2009 dining there and being blown away by the whole experiance, we decided to push the boat out (as the cost was 200 euros each) in the hope of another fantastic evening New years eve. I can't praise Ana enough nor our waiter Marcus, any problems we had they were quick to sort out. Lovely people. We were very dissapointed not to see the singing chef...as we were expecting to, also last time we went they had a professional photographer to capture you on your special evening, this wasn't the case this time. When you find some where good...it's always the little touches that make it that special, and when they go, you lose interest, the singing chef also used to give roses out to the ladies as he sang...all these things add to the ambiance, so he was a big miss for us...add missing the hairs raise on my skin as he sang...We probably wouldn't return for a meal again because it has changed.Although next time we visit i will probably HAVE to go and have a drink there, as the place is beautiful and it will be nice to say hi to Ana
