We've stayed at this self catering hotel a couple of times and love the location. It's a nice little hotel with friendly staff. If you're going to arrive late, there's no reception staff to book you in, just a security guard.
Its not a very large pool area, but adequate for the size of the hotel and have always found it to be very clean.

The rooms are starting to look dated, and the fixtures and fittings are ready for an update,
Maids visit every day, the towels were changed every other day and the sheets every three days.

The beds are very hard, so unless that suits, don't expect to get a fantastic nights sleep.

There's a nice flat screen tv in the room although to be able to watch it, a card has to be rented.

There's a safe in the room, but a security key is needed to operate this, but the rental cost also covers insurance.

The hotel itself is calm and quiet, and they do have a noise policy after 11pm. But tenerife can be a noisy place, and no doubt you will probably end up being awoken by some party goer on their way home.

We had a lovely stay here from 30th August 2013 - 7th September 2013.
We were greeted upon check in by a friendly face, welcoming us to Tenerife and the apartments. Check in was very quick and efficient.
Our apartment was cleaned every day and our towels were replaced three/four times throughout the week. The apartments are very quiet at night; no noise could be heard at all after midnight.
The apartments are in a great location, plenty of restaurants nearby, beach within 5-10 minute walk and 5 minutes to the strip (Pubs/Clubs)
The pool was very clean and very quiet, no doubt helped by the school holidays coming to an end. There was no problem at all to get loungers next to the pool. The only thing we could fault is the pool closes at 6pm and earlier on a Sunday. We are used to the pool and pool bars closing much later.
The food at the pool bar was perfect if you were not in the mood for cooking in your apartment. There is a restaurant next to the pool called Mama Rossa. We ate here one night, but we wouldn’t return. It's the same staff that work on the pool side (Seen through the day in polo shirts and a bow tie by night) It is also quite expensive, there are much better places within a five/ten minute walk.
It was a very pleasant stay here; however the apartments are very warm. The rooms to do not have air-conditioning (They have a fan on the ceiling).
The customer service from the staff isn’t always the best (Pool bar staff) and sometimes felt as though we were being a burden for them.
The beds were slightly uncomfortable and we had just one pillow each, although it was not a huge problem. I’m sure if we asked reception for a second pillow, it would not have been a problem.
We would highly recommend Collon II Apartments to anyone thinking about going. I would take the bad reviews on here with a pinch of salt, in particular the one below titled “Too many problems”.
We will hopefully return in the future, it was a great stay and had a great holiday.

Room Tip: Room 320 - Looks over pool and sunshine til around 1pm

We arrived at Colon11 Sat 1st Sept.2013. Well what a wonderful surprise. We have always gone to the greek isles but never again. My god what a difference. Clean, very very quiet and the cleanliness is 5 star.We spent a week here and have already booked to go again next year. The staff can't do enough for you. On arrival we checked in and asked at reception about safety deposit box. We got the key there and then which we suggest you do as your not pressured at all into having one. At night we slept sooooo well. You could here a pin drop. Reception is staffed 24/7 so if you have any problems there is always someone there to help you. At our meeting the next morning with Jasmine we requested 2 extra pillows and an hour later Jasmine(our rep) phoned us to check we had them and Yes we had. She was the best rep we have ever had in all the holidays we have had. She put no pressure on you to buy trips. Just explianed what was available and if your interested then approach her to book any. It was brilliant. In our apartment we had electric cooker rings, a microwave/grill and a toaster. The bathroom was fab!!!. B-Day spotless toilet and sink and a low bath with a shower. NO WET FLOOR. The beds are quite firm but we are used to that so it wasn't a problem and the pillows were really soft. The balcony was fab. Plenty of room and even had an extendable linen line for your washing (that's if you did any )
We can't praise the Apartments enough. Just go there and see for yourself.
Outside the front reception is a cafe where you can buy icecream coffe or beer. It is normally open till about 12.45 but is very quiet. They also do hot food too. Mama Rossa is attached to the apartments and is supposed to be very good food. We ate here one night and yes our starter was lovely but wasn't impressed with the dreid smash potato they calll mash. I don't think i would eat there again but Tony Roma's restaurant which is 10 mins walk to the right is supurb. The food there is wonderful and plenty of it as well. We had a Tony Roma's big burger. I'm not lying when i say it was2 inches thick and was 7 inches round. A lot to handle. We had a meal at "The House". Yuk!!! That's all we want to say about that restaurant.
There are shops shops and more shops and if you like entertainment just take your pick. It's everywhere yet it's so quiet. All music goes off at midnight (apart from clubs) . It's great if you want to get an earlyish night. We used to finish our night off with a coffee at Colon cafe.
The pool was lovely but felt cold but we think it's because it was up in the 30's everyday but at least it cooled you down. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these apartments. No matter what anyone else says you need to try them and then give your opinion. You'll love them.!!!!
On a final note beer is around 2.50 euro's a pint and most meals are reasonably cheap all depends on what you want.

Room Tip: If you want a shady balcony requset a pool view.

We arrived here in the evening and just wanted to get to our room so we could go eat. We were left waiting at reception for twenty minutes before anyone appeared. We got to our room and there was no information about paying for the safe and paying for the T.V so we had to go and ask about it. The fan in our room was very slow which was apain consdering how hot it was. The beds were really hard so did not get much sleep. Our room was only cleaned three times in the week we were there. Our phone in the room went off three seperate times in the early hours ad when we answered it there was no one there, and when we told reception they just said we don't know who it is. I would not stay here again

Room Tip: Avoid room 123

Just got back from a week stay here, on arrival was dealt with promptly was 15 euros for safe plus 10 euro deposit and 10 euros for tv and 5 euro deposit. Rooms were average size very clean but beds very hard but not a real problem ,no entertainment on at this hotel, could hear occasional shouting from the veronicas area but not to much .Would think about staying there again in the future was value for money you get what you pay for.
