Not very pleased at all......would we be going again.....dont think so.

Had had not booked this one in the first place...I wanted another beach club but pressed the wrong one...My fault but this wont be the first or last place I will be disapointed with. But I strongly wont go to this accomadation again.

Went here for 3 days with my lad as I had family stopping in our appartment so went here for a change.

People are complaining about the noise from the road? You have booked a holiday on the sea front and adjacent to a busy road. Theres going to be noise and to blame the hotel is ludicrous. Go up to Adeje where it is more peaceful but miles from the beach and dead as a doornail.

We booked Self Catering as I never eat in even when Im at my own place but got upgraded for free to Half Board. We only ate breakfast once and to be fair, it wasnt very good and we never tried the evening meal part as we ate with Family.

I found the reception staff very friendly and my room was adequate. One thing I will say is our bathroom had its own individual boiler so instant running hot water. This is a RAREITY in Teneriffe. Also read someone say the room wasnt cleaned in their ten day stay? Well ours was cleaned twice in three days.

The location is superb with a 2 min walk to the beach and a 10 min walk to Los Cristianos.

Thing to remember is people wont be as urgent to right a good review but cant wait to complain.

We enjoyed it anyway

Very clean, staff were great. No Air con so rooms are very hot and difficult to sleep in. All Inc was a bit of a con compared to other hotels I have been too. Bar opens at 09.00 but all Inc doesn't become active until 11.00am, and on the last day the hotel stops your all inc at midday, unless you pay 20e to extend it, the bar closes at 11.00pm, the staff work long days and remain in a good mood considering, so 11.00pm is home time.

Rooms are large and clean with a TV, switch to ATV from DTV and you get BBC NEWS 24, BBC 1 & 2, and ITV 1 so soap fans can get a fix before the evening meal, OH the food, Breakfast is the best meal of the day, full English buffet style and your cereals and continental stuff, lunch and dinner are ok but after a few days its the same and gets boring, We ate out three nights over the 10 days.

The entertainment gets 10 out 10 for effort but 2 out of 10 for content, the pool area is ok and needs some repairs, the hotel is quite and has a mix of old and young, and this was during half term, its around a 15 min walk to the beach or a short taxi ride, best to walk down and taxi back.

Close to Siam park, Water park, which is expensive to visit but is a great day out, they don't allow Picnics to be brought in and food and drink in costly and a long queue, sneak in what you can is my tip.

I have not recommended this hotel based on the food and the lack of Air con, if your booked in to stay be prepared for this and I'm sure you will still have a great time.

The hotel is basic and has everything you need, a nice pool, a bar and a supermarket. The rooms are clean and basic with a decent sized living rooms and a small kitchen in our case it had an upstairs with the bedroom and a bathroom . No air con though and paper thin walls so when the people next door are walking up there stairs it sounds like they are coming up yours! It didnt have any plugs in the bedroom and just 1 in the bathroom. It made it a bit of a nightmare to get ready for the evenings!! My partner lost the room key to and they charged us 40 euro to get a new 1, which I found a bit unfair. All in all it was a brilliant holiday and what makes the hotel is the location. You have got plenty of restaurants and bars for couples near you and its a 5 euro taxi journey in to veronicas strip so really you have the best of both worlds. I would recommend a trip to aqualand to anyone going to tenerife as the dolphin show there is amazing also the Jungle Park is really good lots of different animals to see. If your looking for a decent breakfast go to the Buzz Bar, its cheap and it has friendly staff also its a sports bar and plays every football game on there 3 different screens. Lovely beach a minute walk away from hotel.

Stayed at Compostela Golf 11 10-22 Sep. 1st tip, make sure you book the right one as there are three (1 right behind beach, 11 between courthouse and golf course and 3rd behind golf course. 11 offers all inclusive option). 2nd tip, take you own music as the stuff played poolside is not hip and gets very repetitive! 3rd tip, don't go here expecting to be able to eat in every night as the food choice is limited and dinner time seems to be mostly leftovers from lunch and deep fried in olive oil (the snacks are better- toastie time!!!). On the positives.....nice quite location, but near enought to LA and Los Cristianos if you don't mind a walk (taxi for 5/6 euros if you do), the self serve beer is a good idea so to avoid big queues (although do be careful unless you want a DORADO shower) and the rooms are very spacious and although dated are clean. Biggest warning would be that not EVERYTHING is all inclusive. So if you like your Magnums, Baileys, Red Bull etc expect to pay up (we did not realise until were reprimanded for trying to prize open the locked fridge!). That said, it's amazing how nice local G&T's and plain vanilla ice cream taste when you're not paying for it!. Last word....we met some amazing people and had a great holiday in spite of, not because of this hotel.

Firstly the apartments were very clean, cleaned regularly with clean linen and towels, the location is fantastic right near the beach and plenty of restaurants. The negatives are, the apartments especially the kitchen and bathroom areas are very old and are badly in need of overhaul. Apparently one block has already been refurbed we obviously were not in that block. Also if you want any sleep dont bother staying here, I live on a main road and thought we could easily put up with a bit of noise during the night. Oh NO it was horrendously noisy mostly with yobs coming home at 7am and shouting up through the courtyards for their mates to open up , the noise really carrys, also the dustbin men come nearly every other night and make a racket to wake the dead. Pool area is nice but there is usually a scramble for the umberellas people were up at 6am to reserve although there are plenty of sunbeds which you could usually still get up to about 11am in August. Upshot is I loved tenerife, loved playa americas, these apartments were not great and I wouldnt go back. Also just to mention we booked a two bedroom apartment so our teenagers could have a proper bed each instead of a sofabed - when we arrived the second bedroom was the size of a cupboard and only had one bed in so BEWARE - they both ended up sleeping on the sofabed anyway as too scared to sleep on their own.

This is the 2nd time i have been to compostela beach, i suggested this place to the friends i went with due to being impressed the first time round, big mistake this visit, where to start......the outer shutter style doors on each apartment were rotting and had to be pulled outwards to be able to open/close them, the main doors needed some force to be able to lock them, inside was pleasant enough for self catering holidays, although the shower head holder was loose and didn't hold the head in place, it split after about 10 days of us being there, but they did repair it straight away, the renovation work which we were told would be finished by 31st Aug was still going on during our entire stay, drilling, hammering, chiselling sometimes starting at 9am everyday, dirty workmen walking around with wheelbarrows full of rubble and old baths just propped up outside apartments instead of being removed at that point, cockroaches would often be running around the walkways and guttering. The sun lounges themselves were adequate and in great supply but there were only about 5 parasols which actually functioned, the rest were just a mess and not working at all, the pool is very clean and tidy although they did tape off the kids pool for several days for maintenance without notifying anyone and it led to the adult pool being bombarded by small children which could have caused someone to get injured, the bar/restaurant is in need of a good overhaul too, the staff were very friendly and helpful all the way through our stay so i can't fault them one bit, the only 100% plus point was the location, you're on the main strip with all the designer shops and top quality restaurants as soon as you step out of the front door, maybe in a year or so when they have renovated all the rooms it will be as nice a place as it was when i first went 4 years ago but at the moment i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Big let down!!
