We went all inclusive here for 7 nights as a couple. Our room was spacious and clean, had a big bathroom, lounge and fully equipped kitchen should you need it. Only downside was we got 2 single beds and there was no air con. We could push the beds together and we hired a fan for €10 for the week, so we made the best of it. It wasn't expensive so you can't expect the world. There are also hair dryers, irons and ironing boards for hire which we used.

We found the food nice enough, lots of choice, snacks throughout the day, ice creams during the day and toasted sandwiches at 10pm were a bonus once you'd taken advantage of the alcohol in the evening. Good choice of drinks on the all inclusive range.

Entertainment was cheesy as you'd expect but such a laugh. Bingo, music quizzes, kareoke etc. Mini disco for the kiddies, then you had people come in for a parrot show, eagle show, tropical animal show, snake show and a singer. During the day the entertainer did aqua gym, water polo, pool and table tennis competitions.

The pool was nice, they were doing some work to the tiles around it for a couple of days but it wasn't too much disruption and it's all done now. It wasn't warm but it wasn't freezing either, just right for the temperature outside :)

Shop had enough of what you'd need. We just got drinks, crisps and chocolate for the room, we also got suncream and a new suitcase padlock, so definitely an all round convenience shop.

I would go back there, we would take my partners children and the grandparents alike, decent place for all ages.

The location is great, 2 mins from the beach, pool lovely and clean, we stayed in room 31B,apartment was cleaned every day apart from wed and sundays when its the maids day off, they dont take notice of the do not disturb signs, be warned!lots of cockroaches in the apartment, plug sockets hanging off the wall, and the cushions on the settee had sand on from the last visitors and did smell, well equipped kitchen area, if you want a peaceful holiday forget it! lots of noise from chairs scraping along floors, early morning and late at night, lots of noise from the pool area and from the road regardless of which room you are allocated, no option of air con even when the temps were hitting +35 but as others have said its all about the location!

I have just arrived back from 11 nights here, the apartments were clean and spacious. Through breakfast at the restaurant was poor. The pool area was good but I can imagine it's crowded in the summer.
The walk to the beach was not that bad apart from the hill on the way back.
We visited jungle park which we used the free bus
to get there and we had a fantastic day, we also went to Siam park it was ok but not as good as some reviews have read.
I would return to these apartments in the futures at a similar time of year.

My partner her mother and myself paid £30 each through beach club resort for accommodation only. The catch is you have to go on a sales presentation during your stay as part of the deal. Not so bad if you have no intention like us of buying a timeshare, so half a day away from your vacation is just a minor irritation, a small price to pay considering the cost of the holiday. Anyway back to the hotel. The apartment soon as we walked through the door just didn't seem right. There was bottles of spirits in the cupboards, sugar, box of tea bags opened. In the sitting room were someone's cd collection. It felt as we had intruded on someone's home. We went down to the restaurant for a sandwich and a drink after unpacking, the food was not the best and the beer overpriced at €2.60 for a half pint. (I suspect the prices were high so the people who were on an all inclusive vacation thought they were getting good value for their money when totting up what they would have spent had they paid for each item separately.) we decided we would eat our breakfast and evening dinner at the vast array of restaurants and bars Tenerife has. (Breakfast at British and Canarian bars range from €3 to €4.50 excellent value). Back to compost corner oops sorry the compostela. The pool area was fine an excellent sun trap with a toddlers pool but the main pool was very crowded with people diving in over your heads even though signs clearly stated no diving. Lifeguard just let them get on with it. Warning people were up early laying their towels on the sun beds to ensure they had top spot by the pool.(some even got their towels and tied them to several sun beds at a time). After the 3rd day I ask reception why no phone in the room and no maid service. I was told it was a private apartment and nothing to do with the compostela. I got in touch with the management company called Marcus management( MM)(phone card bought on the Ryanair flight proved great value. Thank you Ryanair) Marcus management said it was policy to have the apartment cleaned every 4 days including change of towels. I suspect to keep costs down. (The rest of compostela were getting maid service daily). Finally after having apartment cleaned we would come back from a night out to find ants in the kitchen area. There was no air con so it got very hot at night making for an uncomfortable sleep. When I was using the wifi in reception area of hotel (€25 for 7days.good value if you were using Skype) I received several bites I suspect came from the not very clean sofas. Our presentation day was postponed to the last day of our holiday and when we went our host was pleasant. No time share on offer this time it was for credits which you buy and them redeem for a host of stuff like flights train travel televisions to name a selection. EZE group on this occasion but other companies do similar offers to try and get your custom in return for a cheap holiday. Like before we turned down what EZE had to offer as we prefer to control when and how much we spend when we go away on vacation. As before the reps turned a bit nasty if you turn down what they offer at these presentations by saying we should not come on cheap holidays if we had no intention of buying in. I said we were under no obligations and that was part of the deal so shut up or put up. These companies buy these holidays off firms like beach club resorts and sell them discounted to people like us who they hope will end up buying in to whatever they have to offer. All in all a no frills holiday but we have had better apartments daily maid service (pearly grey, beverley hills club to name a few). I wouldn't go back to compostela but we are already checking for cheap deals to Tenerife for next year as we love the cheap food and drink in the local bars and restaurants

Room Tip: Book with compostela direct or through a travel agent not through a third party like we did
