The rooms are excellent. The staff are friendly, lots of excellent places to eat not far away. Make sure you use the safe in the room though. We had an ipad, cards and cash stolen whilst we were out!

Room Tip: Use the deadlocks on the rooms and lock with Both Keys!

This is a very acceptable apartment with beautiful panoramic views of the sea from two bolconies. Over the years, Tenerife has seen lots of improvements both in cleanliness, restuarants and entertainment. Club Olympus has also seen lots of improvements, with the replacement of outer doors and windows. All furniture has been replaced to a comfortable standard, except for the main double bed, which although the matteress has been replace with a new one, it is very, very hard and uncomfortable, which in a way ruined the holiday as my wife and I got hardly any sleep and resorted to sleeping on the lylows on the balcony. The weather was absolutely wonderful and one could not have wished for anything better. Next year will be the turn of our eldest daughter and our grand daughter. We have warned her of the bed problem and they will be taking two air beds for comfort and hopefully, sleep. Tenerife is a holiday location I would highly recommend, especially as the natives are a lot friendlier than when we first went there over fifteen years ago !

  • Liked — The weather, the apartment and swimming pool.
  • Disliked — The uncomfortable bed.

We have returned from a 2 weeks stay at Club Olympus and enjoyed every minute. Our apartment was spotless and in a very good location just next to the small pool. It was a nice quiet spot and no steps to get there. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help with any enquiry. The new pool bar is lovely although it didn't have any entertainment on when we were there. We were told that there would be some in July and August. There are lots of bars and restaurants within about 2mins walk and the Winning Post Bar on-site serve nice meals until 7pm. We went out every night and when we got back (late) the whole complex was really quiet and no problems with noise in the mornings (we like to sleep late) The complex was always clean in all areas and the pools cleaned every morning. Can't fault anything and hope to be going back soon.

The hotel was clean, friendly and quiet unless you were near the mad motorway at the back.
But it didnt have the 'I want to come again' factor.
The heated swimming pool was too small for the size of the complex plus it was a little tired looking plus got murky mid way through the day.
Not many braved the smaller un-heated pool.
A big plus was the newly opened Taylors lounge by the pool.
The owner was very friendly but not pushy and the food was great.
We very much enjoyed our week but I think much has to be done to bring the hotel up towards the standards it claims to have.
Having to get up at 8am to secure a poolside sunbed isnt my idea of a restful holiday!
But if we didnt get up at 8am-NO SUNBED!
As for the promised entertainment???--Where was it???

Room Tip: Do not have a room by the motorway.

We have just returned from Garden City apartments. The apartments have a handful of nice bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, with other bars and eateries within a five minute walk. Word of warning that this resort is on a hill so unless you have accommodation right next to the sea it will inevitably involve a walk uphill, which is nice exercise but may not be so for those less mobile.

Apartments were very clean (although did only have cleaner twice in week) and had all amenities and utensils you'd need. Only negative comment would be that they could be more modern, slightly old fashioned and the bath is a bit short. TV is good for a variety of channels in different languages. TV included English main TV channels.

Only downside we found to these apartments was the farce with sunbeds, unlocked at 8.30 and gone within ten minutes! People do queue from 8am though to stalk out their umbrella/area so unless you're an early riser and want to queue for half an hour each morning it did ruin an otherwise lovely resort.

Good location for all Playa de las Americas, Puerto Colon and Costa Adeje. We enjoyed Walli Hai for breakfasts, the Olympus pool bar does cheap beer and good daytime snacks and lunch (we didn't eat main meals or breakfast here so can't comment). On an evening we tended to venture down to Playa la Pinta (the beach area towards FAnabe from Puerto Colon), there are a few bars with live music on and good atmosphere. Blue Marlin restaurant does 2 for 1 on main meals between 18.30 and 20.00 (although both have to order same dish), and the food was good.

Room Tip: choose a room around pool/pool facing as these tend to be quieter.

Just back from a week self-catering at Club Olympus and we had a good time. The apartments are in a good location, with an on site supermarket, great for newspapers and last minute needs plus a larger Mercadona not far away at the San Eugenio Shopping Centre. There are bars and shops on the main road and the beach is a short walk away.

Our apartment was a studio with sofa beds but had everything we needed for self-catering, in fact the kitchen was very well equipped, plus we had a large terrace with table and chairs and overlooked nice garden areas with colourful flowers. The area is well maintained and cleaned regularly.

Plenty of places to eat, our favourite was Christy's Bar (up the steps from Playa de Bobo beach, near Libra Shoes (a fab shoe shop!) and you are there! Lovely food, friendly atmosphere and great prices, give it a go!

Yes, we would return, we had a lovely week, can't wait to go back......
