“What a hotel!”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

My boyfriend and I went on our very first couples holiday to this hotel. We booked with Thomas Cook in which we arrived on the 11th June and departed on the 18th June. What a fantastic hotel. I cannot fault this hotel & I would definitely recommend this hotel to couples, families, friends, anyone!

Location - Doesn't get much better than this, close to the sea and close to the centre where there are numerous restaurants, pubs, supermarkets. The Safari shopping centre is also close by which has lovely shops and restaurants and a beautiful water feature.

We arrived approx. 2130 & when checking in we were informed that as we had just missed dinner we could have a lunch instead on a day of our choice (we were half board & decided to have lunch on the day we were leaving as we were getting picked up from the hotel before the restaurant opened for the evening).

Room - We could not believe how nice our room was. The room was very big, had twin beds, air conditioning, satellite TV (numerous English channels), bathroom with shower/bath, balcony (lovely view of the pool & evening entertainment), 2 big wardrobes, table, couch, fridge.
We rented a safe however we had problems and had to phone reception - a member of staff was sent to our room immediately, great service.
We also came in one afternoon to find the cleaner had arranged towels in the shape of swans and made a rose out of paper and placed it in the middle (I have attached a photo) - was such a nice touch and put a smile on our faces.
One morning we had a slight "incident" (if you can even call it that) & we arrived back in the afternoon to find a bottle of cava in an ice bucket with a letter from the manger. Great customer service however this was not needed as it was hardly an incident.

Restaurant was lovely and there was plenty to offer for all. My boyfriend was definitely in his element. Breakfast - toast; omelettes; pancakes; fruit; yoghurts; sausage; bacon etc. Dinner - too many options to mention! On the day we had lunch there was sirloin steak, chips, hot dogs etc.

Overall = 10/10.

Stayed from 14th to 28th june with my Fiance, booked with thomas cook half board. would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone but i will tell them to take long trousers & smart shoes for evening meal time. We were informed when we arrived that guys had to go to the evening meal with long trousers & smart shoes My Fiance didn't have long trousers with him so we couldnt go a night time for meals. That would be my only complain about it, everything else was fab. When arrived staff were very pleasant. The room we were giving was lovely, clean, fab view over Las Americas! Would definitely go back to this hotel. Breakfast time had a good selection from fruit, cereals, pancakes, fry ups & a selection of teas & coffees. As we werent able to have dinner we did change to lunch what was great, selection of foods was really good aswell, different stuff each time we went. Swimming pool area was good aswell, loved both pool. Activities round the pool for kids was good. I would difinitely recommend this hotel & we will be back in the future :) xx

I have just returned from being at this Hotel and can honestly say that it was a fantastic holiday! this was the 1st time we have stayed here and i travelled alone with my 14yr old daughter, we had a lovely time, the food was good and the entertainment staff did a great job keeping everyone entertained very day.
We started week off being half board but changed to All Inclusive as this is by far the better deal, your cocktails and some branded alcohol are included in this and I'm glad we changed as worth every penny or euro..
Hotel is beautiful and decor is very classy and modern which appeals to me. Cannot fault it and looking forward to returning in October.
Thank you so much to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable x

Room Tip: I had asked for a pool/sea view and was very happy with this, thank you for accommodating us!

Stayed 17 to 25 May, booked with Thomson all inclusive Privilege, would definitely recommend paying the extra for this. We emailed hotel week before to book the à la carte restaurant for our anniversary they emailed back within 24 hours with our request honoured. On arrival in are room we had chilled cava with glasses and the room was decorated to celebrate our anniversary, a very nice welcome. Ate in the à la carte restaurant every morning for breakfast, excellent service from Staff especially Miguel and Rodolfo. Menu choice at Breakfast excellent, including Cava! Also dined in the evening at the à la carte restaurant, when they were open, great service from staff and good variety on menu, wine choices exceptional would rate this 5 star. When dining in the buffet for lunch we also had the same excellent wine choice. The 6th floor privilege lounge and terrace with hot tub was an excellent place to relax for a few hours a day. The indoor bar area was very modern and relaxing, drinks menu extensive with top brands and fresh fruit cocktails, (all inclusive with privilege), very impressive. In the Coffee shop we enjoyed some of the best coffees we have experienced, would rate this also as 5 star.
Hotel in excellent location, within walking distance of beach shops, bars and restaurants. We would definitely return as privilege guests.
May we take this opportunity to say thank you to the staff for helping to make this a memorable anniversary for us.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband (53) and parents (81). We travelled with Jet2 and were impressed with the pre holiday service - no facing about booking separate hotel, flights, transfers which was so easy and stress free.

The lobby is beautiful - a simple design that is calming and restful. It definitely gives guests a beautiful vista on arrival.

The hotel is excellent and I asked for sea view rooms which were allocated on arrival and for a fee of 17 euros per room per night. Well worth the upgrade. I also asked for refurbished rooms and we were allocated 426 and 428 over the pool and fabulous sea views.
The room had a safe, fridge, chairs, plenty of wardrobe space, shelves and drawers. The bathroom was spacious and came with toiletries.

Food was excellent and was similar to the H10 Casta Adeje Palace, another lovely hotel. We opted for half board and breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing with so much choice - always a roast of the day along with steak, fish, chicken and pork cooked for you. The pasta station was also good and you can choose a pasta and sauce that the chefs cook for you.

The position was excellent with bars, shops, restaurants within a two minute walk.

I have stated in a lot of five star hotels in Europe, USA, Caribbean, Asia and Mauritius and the Conquistiador could become five star with a few tweaks such as bathrobes, slippers, kettle, iron and board.

One negative are the pool rules and the chap who patrols the sun decks checking his watch and removing belongings. However, we were there 23 June to 3 July despite the hotel being full, there were always sun loungers available but not enough parasols as the temperatures were increasing daily 31 degrees most days.

The hotel location was brilliant being opposite the beach and there is a broadwalk so you can walk into Los Christianos and Costa Adeje and Caleta.

Last time I visited Tenerife I stayed at the five star Vincci Selection La Plantation at Costa Adeje. This is wonderful and you just can't beat it.

However, I would definitely return to the Conquistador for its wonderful location.

Room Tip: 426 and 428 are refurbished sea / pool view, don't get the sun but have fabulous views. I would...

we stay at the h10 conquistador 31st may 2013 for two weeks on half board basis privilege. We are glad we did do privilege as it was well worth the extra. it meant we had access to the privilege lounge where Annebelle couldn't do enough for you, you could help yourself to soft drinks as well as champagne, vodka, whisky etc which are all branded names. also help yourself to pastries throughout day the lounge opens at 9am and closed at 6pm so we felt that for us half board basis was enough. We went into the a la carte resteraunt every morning where yet again the staff could not do enough for you Miguel ( Spanish Peter Andre ) and Fran where attentive to your every need and a fantastic breakfast with great variety to choose from. The la vista belle (a la carte evening meal which is open (Tuesday to Saturday) is a MUST amazing food with helpful staff who make you feel so relaxed and welcomed Davina and Alexandro where like the a team running around making sure everyone was seen to. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels changed twice and privilege towels changed daily. We used the spa as this was included in privilege which was really nice and relaxing. The hotel is located well right near the sea good beach's close by, shops and night life. We are looking to return again this is a faultless hotel and we had a great holiday.

If you want to have a great holiday with plenty variety of good food, helpful staff, clean rooms, the H10 Conquistador is the hotel for you!!!

The list is endless, due to the care and attention that all the staff provide.

The wardrobe space is small, but I did take 25 dresses.

We have recently had a 1month holiday, although we have been to this hotel many times and had a marvellous time.

The PR Team cannot do enough to ensure that your holiday is well catered for you.

The restaurant staff are all very professional, and friendly, Briggada, Sergio and Davinia cannot do enough for you.

Even the lovely ladies in the boutique/shop have a warm welcome each morning.

No complaints just happy to be going back there at another time.
