We stayed at the Cleopatra for 3 weeks with our 10 month son Joseph and couldnt fault it.

The sea view suite was great and so peaceful at night plus perfect for people-watching.

The breakfast buffet was ideal for us all especially the freshly squeezed juices, pancakes and pastries. There was also cava each day should you prefer :)

For those with children the kids club was great - there were 2 outdoor areas with swimming pool and separately a huge playhouse and 2 wendy houses. inside there were separate areas for different aged children. For babies there was a cot room where you could put your baby down to nap and the staff would monitor him whilst you sunbathe just outside the club.we felt comfortable leaving Joseph there for an hour for example as it is very secure and has excellent staff, for older kids there was face painting and other activities.

there are 2 free fitness classes a day - at 10am and 5pm - these range from spinning to pilates or stretching and are good.

the hotel was so clean and all the staff are fantastic. The waitresses and waiters were brilliant - one of them Maria bought Joseph a present when we left!

It is linked to the other hotels under the Mare Nostrum so you can dine in the others if you wish. The hotel med had a special kiddies supervised dining area if you had older kids.

Overall it suited us with a baby and we will definately return. It was fantastic

Room Tip: sea view suites have 2 balconies - one at the front and one at the side. if you have a baby this is...

We found the hotel to be ideal for our needs. There were a party of 6 with one requiring a wheel chair. We did have a problem when first arriving that the one requiring a wheel chair was targeted in the main reception by a pickpockets who managed to get into the hotel area. Luckily this was spotted and the three who were involved were quickly removed from the hotel.
After this unpleasant situation we then went on to enjoy what the hotel had to offer. We booked only B&B. The breakfast was excellent which left you wanting for nothing. The room was cleaned every day and was spotless. The reception staff were most helpful and we would not hesitate to stay there again. The main gripe was the reserving of the sun loungers which started from 9 am and many of the reserved loungers were never used for the whole day.

My husband and myself have just returned from 7 days in this hotel. We were greeted by very courteous staff with a glass of cava each. & promptly shown to our room. We didn't expect this as we arrived at 10am. The whole of the hotel is exceptionally clean. They were even jet washing the sunbeds when we were there. We only stayed on a bed & breakfast basis and found the food very good & plentiful. There was a selection of anything you wanted. The tables were also nicely apart from other guests instead of being on top of one another as in many hotels. We booked a room overlooking the pool with afternoon sun & were very pleased with it. The hotel connects to the Mediterranean palace where you can see a show if you so desired. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for only two nights before joining a cruise, but really enjoyed our short stay. We were greeted by courteous and professional staff (and a chilled glass of Cava to drink whilst checking in). Our room was at the front of the hotel, overlooking at the beach, and had a balcony to enjoy the view. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. the shower had good water pressure, but was over the bath rather than a separate shower. there was some noise from guests passing the door during the night as all the corridors are marble so sounds echo a bit, but we found if we closed the inner hall door, then it was more quiet. The inside of the hotel is very spacious, with a variety of seating areas around the public areas. Breakfast was buffet style with a good choice of continental and cooked options. The pool area was well supplied with loungers, and as the hotel is inter-connected to other hotels on the site owned by the same group, it is possible to use the other pools. All in all we really enjoyed our stay, and would be happy to stay here again. All rooms are easily accessed as there are lifts to all floors.

Stayed here in June 2011 + 2012 with husband and 2 children (under 12). Were a bit apprehensive first time as we really wanted the hotel and location to be perfect - and they were! Hotel was beautiful, rooms (2 adjoining) were immaculate, cleaned daily, spacious and simply perfect. Rooms also have safe. Housekeeping left welcome pack of mini games/toothbrush and toothpaste for kids which was a lovely touch. Stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the selection of food was second to none - everything imaginable. Ate here one evening but the selection for vegetarians was not great (although the dessert selection was amazing). Long trousers must be worn by males for evening dining. Pool lovely and also quiet - not many kids as most families with younger kids stayed in the sister hotel within the complex (Mediterranean) which has a kids club and a huge pool with daily pool activities which seemed to be very popular - all their facilities are drtalso available to Cleopatra residents. Reasonably priced snacks/drinks available from poolside bar. Hotel in great location - quiet but within minutes of restaurants/shopping area. Room card is also required to enter/exit hotel which makes it feel pretty safe. Beach is practically outside front door! Staff pleasant (housekeeping staff extremely pleasant - as is Chris from the bar). Taxi from airport cost 20/25 euro - drivers didn't speak much English. Bus also available from airport which would leave you within five minutes walk but we didn't use so can't comment. If you visit with kids Siam Park is a MUST. Can't fault this hotel and can't wait to visit again

Room Tip: First visit we stayed in sea view room which had stunning views but being on beach side was a little...
