Just back this morning after a week in the Cleopatra Palace - |thought the quality of rooms were outstandidng and the hotel had a great Aura about it....

Poolside was fantastic, food in the bar also an excellent snack.

Booked a beach view room and for a light sleeper the beach cleaner at 6am can be a tad annoying although this has no reflection on the hotel itself.

Walked into Las Americas one evening and the place is a kip, no life about it and very run down. On the other side of the resort you have Los Cristianos and I can highly recommend a little eaterie called CHILL OUT just by the tunnel. 10 out of 10!!!!

All amenities great in the vacinity, good shopping for "er in doors" we took the LORO PARQUE trip and it also was top notch, although the bus can take up to 2 hours there its a great day out for all the family.

Another nice little touch was the fact that we have a one year old and our flight was not leaving til 8pm, the hotel let us keep said room on until 4pm for free.... well done you!

Another small point, need a kettle facility in the rooms for a 5 star joint.

Will return again definately, hats off to Cleopatra Hotel....

We booked for a week in the med palace but on arrival was put in the marco antonio palace, we were very pleased and could not fault the place in any way. every thing from the freindly staff to the splendour of the hotel was spot on. we will definately be returning and hoping to stay at the cleopatra which has wonderful sea views and is adjacent to the marco. you won't be dissapointed. there is a very good selection of shops and dining try biancos its excellent, all are just across the road.

Great Easter break, 2nd Time at the Mare Nostrum. Booked a Suite as we have 2 small children. The room was ample though its getting a little tired for a 5*. Very clean but just in need of a refurb to keep asking 5* prices.

Pool area/bar etc was great staff very friendly.

The vicinity around the hotel goes from strength to strength, excellent bars and restaurants everywhere you look.

The beach is still black but thats the only downside. All in all fab time would recommend and return to the Cleopatra Hotel.

We were due to stay in the Med Place on the 18th of May, but when we arrived we were upgraded to the Julio Caesar due to building work around the pool at the Med Palace. The Julio Caesar was an impressive hotel with a lot of marble. Our room was spacious and clean. The best part of the hotel was undoubtably the breakfasts which were amazing! They included almost everything you could want, pancakes, cakes, pastries, cheese, fruit, cooked breakfasts, sparkling wine...

Our main disappointment was that we had booked to go on the hotel's whale watching boat on two different days, but on both occasions the trip was cancelled as a result of strong currents. The decision to cancel was always taken at the last minute, meaning there was little chance to revise your plans for the day.

Overall, a good holiday in a really nice hotel, with very pleasant staff.
