“3 hour boat trip to see whales & dolphins”
Reviewed March 7, 2014

We had complimentary pick up from our hotel to the port.
There were a further 8 guests on the 3 hour afternoon trip. It was so much nicer to be on a luxury sailing ship rather than the overcrowded other boat trips. Under sail we went in search of pilot whales & were certainly not disappointed by the dolphins - loads of them, they seemed to enjoy swimming along the boat back to port. Refreshments (fruit kebab, sandwich & drink of your choice) were served by Jesus the very competent but only crew member!
An enjoyable afternoon

“An absolute must”
Reviewed February 18, 2014 via mobile

Had a fantastic day on board with my partner along with one other couple on board and our trusted captain Jesus. We sailed alongside dolphins then pilot whales, had a lovely light lunch and plenty refreshments on offer, before he hoisted the sails and we chilled off the coast to some lovely relaxing music. Defo the way to do it. Why would anyone want to do the Catamaran thing when Blue Jack offers so much more?

“Amazing from start to finish”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

We booked a shared 3 hour trip at the last minute, and when the booking wouldn't go through via the website, the manager, Jesus, was quick to contact us directly to arrange and to discuss the type of trip we wished to take, even offering a substantial discount to charter the entire boat!

We arrived early and were welcomed on board a beautiful sailboat by Jesus and his gorgeous little boy, Diego. Four other couples joined us and we set sail, taking our position on deck with the most beautiful view of the ocean and Southern coastline of Tenerife.

As we sailed, we had up close experiences with a dolphin family and a large amount of whales which Diego did a great job of spotting on our behalf.

Jesus took time with each of us to chat which was a really nice personal touch. We stopped in a gorgeous little cove for a lovely lunch of rolls, fresh fruit and drinks at which time you had the opportunity of going snorkelling or swimming in the bay.

As the wind picked up on the way back Jesus was able to sail us back into port "naturally" which was like heaven!

An amazing day out with a personal touch. Would definitely recommend booking with blue jack and, should there be a few of you, charter the whole boat!

Thank you to Jesus and Diego for a truly wonderful day out!

“upscale and delightful”
Reviewed September 15, 2013 via mobile

Capt. Jesus was freindy and welcoming. He is the owner operator of the beautiful Blue Jack sailing vessel. We were so happy NOT TO BE on the catamarans that we saw leaving from the same marina. Those were LOADED with tourist, packed like sardines, while we were on a lux sail boat, just 3 couples and the capt. We took the 3 hour tour which included a sail down the coast, with long stops to soak up the views, take pictures and observe the many pilot whales that surrounded us. He gets close enough, turns off the engine (not enough wind for sails to be up) and the whales come right by the boat. They were a marvelous site. We saw several dolphin and a giant turtle too. We sailed over to a cove and anchored. Most of the other catamarans were also there, which was ok, but we kept our distance and it was fine. This time of year, September, we found the water refreshing for a swim. The whole time, the music on the vessel was cool buddabar type music. We were served, prosecco, beer and fresh fruit. The captain was very knowlegable and enjoyed engaging with all his guest. I would highly recommend this outing with Blue Jack. it was a 10. Five stars on my book, and I am tough to please.

“Highlight of our holiday”
Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

We decided to take the six hour boat trip and have absolutely no regrets. Jesus responded quickly and efficiently to all my emails and on the day, so that he was prepared on the day. He planned the time according to our wishes and took everything into account. As if by magic, a turtle popped up in front of the kids when we anchored up for a snorkel! The lunch was freshly cooked and simple but delicious. Then we sailed out into open sea to view the whales, who also appeared on queue. The boat is nicely equipped and Jesus was able to answer all our queries about the island. All in all, the highlight of our holiday.
