My husband and I had such wonderful 10 days at this hotel with half board. The hotel is very well located just 5 minutes from good beaches. The hotel staff was very polite and lovely and the food in the evenings surprised us in selection, quality and presentation. We upgraded our room with pool view and had very spacious room and lovely walk in shower in modern and good lighting in the bathroom. The cleanness of the room was ok and cleaning ladies very polite and lovely. The pool area and the fresh towels every day was such a pleasant surprise and the mattresses were comfortable and the pool area spacious.
The only con is that our room was straight in front of the elevator and in the corner of the L- layout hotel and there was a bit of noise from people there and also it was never possible to pull the curtains open because of the rooms on the other wing facing our room. So it was a bit of dark room. We had sun only 2-3 hours in the evening on the balcony.
We are planning on come back in a year and we will make sure we will have better position ;)

My husband and I spent another fabulous week at the Bitacora, our 3rd time. It is a wonderfully run hotel, very professional and friendly. Every member of staff is polite and warm, from reception to housekeeping.

I believe they are are soon shutting for renovations, but I was very satisfied with everything as it was. The rooms are large and well appointed and the reception area and dining hall are clean and welcoming. We will have to return soon to see how they improve things.

Another lovely 2 weeks at this great hotel.We have been here many times and always have a good time. They have been renovating it for a couple of years the restaurant has

been extended and is bright and airy also the reception area. The babies and children's area's have been improved with a nice gaming area for older children. Bedrooms have now walk in showers which is much better.Entertainment still good although we had seen some of the acts before. Food is still good with plenty of choices.We will certainly be back.

There were some problems with the hotel administration to tell what belongs to room price (like pool towels and safety box). It looks like that there may exist some grey economy in the hotel.

Some of the personnel in front desk and breakfast room were rather impolite. The pool was very noisy due to some rather naive show going on.

thanks for your sharing your experience with other travelers on Trip Advisor.

We really do not understand your comment about "Spanish grey economy" in our hotel as it is very clear and it is published in all the tour operators brochures, on our official web site and on all the OTA's web sites that according the room category you book some of the facilities are included in price (minibar, safe, pool towels, etc, etc).

We are very proud of our Staff and we receive lots of congratulations on Trip Advisor, Google, or Facebook from the clients who visit us as nothing is too much for them to make our clients happy when staying between us.

We are very sorry if you found the pool a little bit noise last 14th of February but it was due to the celebration of the Sun Valentine's party which was really very mucf appreciated for the majority of our clients.

Day one of our holiday ruined by one of the rudest members of staff I have ever met in my life. I have travelled to many destinations previously, but NEVER in my life have I came across anyone quite as rude as Fredrico. He is arrogant, abrasive and it appears unliked by a lot of customers in the bar. He point blank refused to put sound on for 40 football fans and after numerous complaints then hired the volume up to 9. Put it this way my dog would have struggled to hear it. I’m not sure if Frederico’s job is bar manager or to clear the bar to stop the customers taking advantage of their all inclusive but it’s safe to say I won’t be telling any of my friends to book this destination solely because of him. Hopefully the rest of our stay gets a bit better.

We are very sorry for your rating but we are sure that after this incident you will change your mind as it is a shame that only for this you think that all our hotel, staff and services deserve only one point.

We regret your comment about one of our bar staff members as he follows the rule on keeping the volume not too high when there is more than one televised sporting event of interest in the bar. We try to make happy everyone in our bar and we apologize if it did not happen with you but we hope that in spite if this incident you will enjoy the rest of your holidays between us.
