Still here .. , reception staff very friendly and helpful , room excellent with a lovely balcony and nice sea view ( without binoculars ) sun terrace on roof brill. The only two things that let this hotel down are the entertainment and the food which is the worst I've ever eaten ( I could cook better out of an Army mess tin ) its cold ,dry and extremely tasteless with not a lot of choice . Please please can we have a miracle for an improvement

Room Tip: Ask for high floor sea view

Being avid travellers and taking our holidays in All Inclusive four star hotels, it was a disappointing experience for my friend and I at this hotel.

Our request on booking of an elevated, pool view room was totally ignored in fact, we were informed they were fully booked and none were available. Alternatively, we had been allotted a second floor room directly above the refuse bins, which incidentally were loudly emptied early every morning. To make matters worse, there was random deliveries, which added to the continual disruption.

On arrival mid afternoon, all we wanted was a small snack and drink to relax after our journey however, the food was dried up and cold and the staff seemed as though they were doing us a favour when asked to serve us a drink.

The food was not only cold what ever time of day we went for a meal, it was totally repetitive to a point that whatever we chose to eat, tasted the same be it fish or meat. Plus, the desserts had no variations for the length of our stay. And to compact the lack of hot food, surely the hotel would realise that hot plates for hot food would be an advantage albeit as previously mentioned, the food was invariably cold so no advantage would be gained!

The whole scenario above was not helped by eating in a “Kitchen”. Yes, the restaurant is called the “Primekitchen”, which is just fine for breakfast and lunch, but not the evening meal.

To move on to the “evening entertainment”, which is clearly stated in the brochure, what entertainment! We had two nights of a DJ busy on his mobile whilst playing the music and one night of a singer. Hardly regular evening entertainment three out of seven days!

In the room there is a notification that sunbeds are not to be reserved however, towels were reserving the sunbeds whilst the occupiers had their breakfast. Why have rules if the hotel is not going to enforce them! And there was a notice not to take the cushions and pillows down to the pool area however, one of the guests brought her pillow down every day for her “reserved” sunbed. But I have to say that the sunbeds had no mattress's therefore, not very comfortable to linger on.

Whilst my friend and I holidayed at this hotel, there was no atmosphere around the pool area and the lounge area was equally as dire, with the only form of entertainment being the TV, which was a work of art tuning in to the UK programmes.

The above circumstances meant that more time was spent outside the hotel than in, which just isn't good enough for an all inclusive holiday.

On the positive side, our room was comfortable and the cleaners did an excellent job of keeping the standards as we arrived plus, when requested, a regular change of towels. In fact the cleaners were possibly the most friendly of the staff we met.

So to summarise, in our opinion this four star hotel barely reaches a three star standard compared to what we know to be other four star hotels in the area and quiet frankly, the one star we have allotted in our critic is for the cleanliness of the room and the cleaners that work hard to keep up this standard.

Possibly the most appalling hotel we have ever stayed in.

Room Tip: Would recommend choosing alternative hotel.

Me & my husband went to the sunprime 20th August for 11 nights , it was our 1st time in Tenerife so we were a bit unsure as to exactly how far away from things it was as in beach etc, but we neednt have worried it was in a great position for the beach & all the night life you want .
And as for shopping well I thought every time we came out the hotel it was a differnt way to go so was great . The hotel was everything it says it was with its bright colored bedding/cushions etc, the roomwas so big was great 2 big wardrobes with mirrors on, great for getting ready. And the wee kitchen area really helped as it ment you could have tea/coffee when you want if you take with you or buy it.

I could go on and on about the hotel but most other people have covered it , we paid for a pool view , so we got the 3rd floor pool view and it was a great room as you dont have to depend on the lift .
As for my favorite part of the hotel the Sundeck on the roof WoW the views were amazing and the terraces were all kitted out with lovely sun loungers and brollys evrything you needed as there as 2 sides to the Sundeck it was never to busy so you could choose where you wanted to chill for hours on end . The only thing that let it down was the weather we had at least 5 days that were dull and overcast and I thought at that time of year you would have beem guaranteed it but not the case.

I never came across a member off staff that wasnt nice pleasant and very very helpful , especially wee Pedro at the bar , they couldn't do enough for you , on arrival at 9pm we were greeted with a glass champagne. The other great thing was that you were only 20mins from the airport that was a big plus as we were a 4 & half hour flight.
Anyway as I covered everything its a great couple's holiday and I was surprised at the amount of young couples different nationalitys that were in the hotel and looked like they all enjoyed it to there were so many diff . We were b&b so didnt get the meals but the snack pool bar served anything you wanted to take away handy if you wanted to eat before going out. I have only gave 3 for the spa as we were never in it , but then you had to pay 6 euros as day , at our last hotel it was free. Would most definitely go back to Tenerife as we loved it but would try a different hotel just to try another part of Tenerife.

Room Tip: Well we were 3rd floor facing the pool and as you are already 2 high before getting into the lift as...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week on b&b after reading some of the best reviews in comparison to other hotels in tenerife. We arrived and were checked in easily, we hadnt booked a pool view despite the reviews that said it was best to and our room faced onto a back road and some residential flats. It wasnt the nicest view but it wasnt an issue apart from it could be a bit noisy with people talking very loudly a few nights but it didnt stop me from sleeping after spending all day in the sun.

The hotel is very clean, you always see the cleaners around. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed, they also provide beach towels so no need to take your own. The beds are comfy enough and quite big (we had two singles pushed together), the rooms are also very spacious and modern and fully equipped with hairdryer, iron, ironing board, microwave fridge, cutlery everything you would need. I had no problems with the hotel being dirty, even the floor around the pool is cleaned. We did however come home one night to see a cockroach crawling over the headboard, we think it snuck through the crack in the wall behind the headboard. This did put me off so slept with the beds pulled away from then on. No problems apart from that one time.

On the first day we realised you have to reserve sunbeds quite early if you want to spend any time at the pool, by about 9 there are none left apart from on the roof where the sun is scorching hot! The pool didnt get too busy or loud as the hotel seemed to mainly have older people staying there. We only saw a few younger couples at the hotel that arrived as we were leaving.

One big negative my boyfriend and I both found is the food at this hotel. We were put off breakfast from day 1, it didnt seem cooked thoroughly or just didnt taste nice although there was a big enough choice . We ended up eating pancakes with chocolate spread or beans on toast every day whilst we were there. We did speak to others who also commented that they really didnt enjoy the food but there were people there that seemed happy to eat it.

On friendliness most of the staff are lovely and helpful, we did find two of the waiters there quite rude but dont be put off by that as the others are very kind. The spa staff are two of the most lovely people we've ever met, they were so welcoming even letting us try out the spa facilities for a while even though we just went in to inquire. We had a massage which we would definitely recommend as they were extremely good and then you can use the spa for the rest of the day.

The hotels location is good, its a 5 min walk from one of the beaches and into the main town. We also went to siam and loro parque which were brilliant days out should definitely go. The pickup and drop off point was a 2 min walk from the hotel which was perfect after a long day.

Overall our stay here was great, would recommend and stay again if food was sorted

Room Tip: Dont go all inclusive

Have just returned in last 2 days from the Sunprime Coral and we normally don’t leave reviews of hotels unless our experience differed from the majority which was the case here unfortunately, although I do see a few similar less than glowing reviews recently.

There is no one thing you could point to as a big problem but almost everything could be improved with some simple changes. We didn’t go all-inclusive so can’t comment on lunch or dinner.

Things we found to be disappointing on a typical day were as follows:
• Breakfast – soggy cereal, ‘hot food’ always lukewarm, queues for coffee and the slowest toaster in the world (I hope to find anyway). Didn’t nice 4-star hotels used to bring these things to you……..
• Pool area cramped and sunbeds unbelievably uncomfortable, towels go down early against a Management request but unless there’s a fair alternative what can you do? Also requested that cushions from the room aren’t used outside but they will need to invest in decent beds I would suggest to stop it. Water wasn’t too cold but understand why it was never busy in the pool.
• Room tidy enough but seeing this as a positive is like thanking the Pilot for landing at the right airport – it should be an absolute given that the rooms will be clean. Our maids certainly found a use for bleach going on the aroma left in their wake but ignored our request for 2 minutes to allow a shower to be finished before pushing in to start – not really acceptable. I’ve also never stripped a bed on holiday to indicate I would like it cleaned, this is youth hostel stuff and a card on the bed would surely be more customer focussed. The 2 single beds makes no sense either as I’m guessing 90% of guests are couples.
• The lifts gave no confidence that the journey would be completed as planned but got some good exercise using the stairs.
• Entertainment at night was ‘enjoyed’ by us and anyone else in a mile-radius I fear, liked the earlier comment on the volume over talent issue. Just get a good CD or karaoke and let people enjoy themselves.

Could probably go on but no real need and hopefully point made that standards were not high but could be easily rectified. Big positive was the lucky room placement facing pool on ground floor. If none of the above bothers you then go for it but I like to be treated better as a paying customer.

This is the best hotel we have been in for a long while , it was clean modern and very friendly staff ,the room was large with a small kitchen with fridge, microwave & toaster plus a hairdryer dressing gown & slippers , our room was cleaned every day and fresh towels whenever we put them in the laundry basket A big choice of food always something we liked, but it could do with being a bit hotter (but I might be a nit picking there) the entertainment was"nt brilliant but there was a good D J a couple of nights but he was only allowed to play till 11pm the other nights were quite sometimes a singer or a guitarist .most nights we went out as the hotel is central and only a short walk to all the night life we certainly would go back to this hotel

Room Tip: try and get a pool view

We arrived at hotel to be told we had no room, no explanations just that there was a problem, they had booked us in the Best Tenerife which we refused it was much to large for my disabled wife and we wanted an adult only hotel. After phoning our agents in the UK a room as by miracle
was found for us this took about 2 hours and was very stressful .
The hotel is like the curates egg good in parts. First the good news. The rooms are first class very modern clean and are of a very good size English channels a real bonus bbc itv channel 5 and world news available.Bathrooms very modern lovely showers ,rooms cleaned daily to a high standard if you require fresh linen or towels just pop used in a bin in the bathroom and the maid will change them.Book a pool view room it's worth the extra you could be overlooking a very run down alley which did not look very pretty.
The bar was first class all wines from the bottle and of good quality with a very good outside lounge next to the bar for relaxing with a drink. All the staff in the bar and restaurant are first class and most friendly and helpful. And now the bad, the food although plentiful was always cold and was the major moan of the guests many complained to the management whilst they were there. The pool did get a bit overcrowded the area was to small for the number of guests and you will have to put your towels out if you want a sunbed. The 6th Floor sundeck will worth a visit beautiful panoramic views
Overall we thought the hotel to be well cleaned, however I killed a cockroach by the lifts 3rd floor and it was still there 3 days later until I removed it to a bin myself. I do not think the hotel is 4 star but with attention to the food it could be.

Room Tip: Pool view high floor, corner rooms are very large but will come at a cost.
